I received a call this evening that just registered on my caller i.d. as Clinton, CT. I live in CT. And have family in that area so I picked up.. The last thing I expected from phone number 860-552-2469 was a telamarketer looking for money for Autism. I have a nephew who is autistic and does not speak, and I told them I donate enough money to him because we can never get any help from any one everytime we try. The person on the phone got very unprofessional so I hung up. As the night went by I really wondered if it was a real thing or someone just trying to get money.....They also called my house on Sept. 24th 816pm and when I picked up the phone I said hello 5 or 6 times and there was noone there so I hung up.

Caller ID showed the call originating in Clinton, CT. Since Clinton is a small, rural town, I assumed the caller was someone I knew so I answered. The call was a telemarketer soliciting funds on behalf of SADD. The caller, who said she was from Alabama, was very polite. However, as I started asking her questions, I heard the sound of a very loud, somewhat angry male voice in the background. I asked who that was and she said it was her program manager. I told her he was being very unprofessional and I was hanging up. I did. It was a very odd call but legitimately made, I assume, on behalf of SADD.
