My cell phone notified me that I missed a call that came in, even though I was sitting next to my phone. While I was looking at my cell phone's notification, it notified me that another call from this same number came in, again without ringing the phone. I called the number, but Verizon says the number is disconnected or no longer in use. They didn't leave a message.

If you may have noticed, one of the telemarketers is Cellco dba VERIZON WIRELESS. I called verizon and reported them, and the rep was (shocked) that they would be so deceptive. Verizon sent a letter to my company stating they had nothing to do with this company and assured my boss that they would investigate the matter and block that phone number. Calls continued.. Bottom line is Verizon is glad these scam artists are burning up airtime.. More revenue to the phone companies.

The company is card holder services. (or at least thats what they say) They call me almost everyday at first I would get really mad, but now it has become some what of a game. It brings joy to my day when I see their number show up on my phone. I try and waste as much of their time as I can. Stay strong, act dumb make them repeat them selfs a dozen times hahaha its great, Give them false info. They will put you on hold after the info is received (to check if the info is legit) by them and when they get back to you is when the fun starts. Yesterday the guy had the audacity to tell me to stop wasting his time LMFAO and Today the guy got mad cause "you made up an account # d****ead" it was great I started laughing really hard Im glad he stuck around to hear me laugh then he hung up

Getting calls from this number every day.

I can find the physical location of an IP address in minutes. Why can we do the same for phone numbers? Why are telephone companies protecting these people?

860-949-6352, that number calls me, man says he is charlie benson here to help me. he works for nationwide account services.
I already knew that it is all a Fraud. So I keep him on line by sounding so interested. He ask for my Amex last for digits ( i gave him 4 wrong numbers) he asked for last 4 of s.s.# , i also gave him wrong numbers.  I keep him on for as long as I can trying to get some info before they hang up.  He caught on and hung up on me, But Usually I get the last word in and call them some type of Stupid Azz, but more harsh words. I don't know but it makes me feel better.  if you try to call number back, the number gets disconnected. I am on the do not call list, but it don't work.

Card services scam.  I did my part this morning by keeping them on the phone for 18 minutes giving them repeated bogus information.  I hope this delayed them from ripping off one more senior citizen by a little time.

Just called with the usual routine about mortgage rates, or whatever the recording happens to say. Got to listen to Moonlight Sonata because I was on hold for 9 minutes. I was really hoping they'd answer so I could tell them it was 10:30 EST when they called, which is kind of late. I was hoping to get a phone number and arrange for maybe a discreet rendezvous after they got off work. But they disconnected before I got to talk to a live person. These calls are a great source of amusement. It's like a game to see how long I can keep them on.

This is a spoofed number. When you answer and say hello to a robo-dialer, thats what tells the robot that your's is a working number, and that it has a live sucker on the line, and your number is then moved to the"sucker"list, once your number is on that list, it stays on FOREVER! Welcome to our little club.Your number will be sold/traded/shared with every other scammer here in the USA and around the world. You can complain/biXch/and moan all you want to the FBI,CIA,NSA,FCC,FTC,OPRAH, and even Hawaii 5-0, but your number will always and forever be on that"sucker list".When they call, consider it a challenge or a sport, mess with them with the goal of wasting as much of their "valuable"time as possible, press 1 to speak to a"representative",then feed them as much B-S as possible, give them goofy/FAKE names, addresses, credit card numbers, toll free customer contact numbers on the back of the card,etc.etc.Since I retired, one of my personal favorites,is,when they ask for the toll free number on the back of the card, I give them a VERY kinky toll free sex-chat number,(google for a list of these),then just wait for them to come back on the line.Hilarity ensues, but be prepared for their true evil personalities to emerge, hold the receiver a couple of inches from your ear in case they have an air-horn/whistle.I've been messing with them for about 5 years now and actually look forward to their calls,I usually average about 15-30 minutes per scammer, here's my routine,I pretend to be senile and/or hearing impaired, and make them repeat things 3 or 4 times, but remember, they are trained professional grifters, their ultimate goal is to get your checking acct./credit card/debit card info so they can transfer your money to them.My husband tells me I need a hobby,I tell him I already have one. It's called scamming the scammers.Stay safe out there fellow club members.
