just received the same phone call from the 863 number indian dude heavy accent said that I qualify for $8000 grant.And to put $200 on a prepaid card scam

This same number has called me multiple times, saying that i have been accepted with an 8003$ grant.  What he said i needed to do was get a prepaid card and put 200$ on it, first thing that came to mind was, if im receiving 8000$ why do i need to put money on a card. Then further details, i was told they dont work with master card or visa, hmmm. Why not, because master card and visa know what scammers are is my bet. My advice, ignore these low lifes, and hopefully i run into them on the street lol. Ill give them some knowledge.

Got a call from 863-585-2141 - could not understand the person on the other end. Said has was from Advanced America and was calling about a $5000.00 loan for my wife.  Since I could not understand this person I told them we did not need a loan and hung up on him.  Watch out for these guys!!! Mark

THIS NUMBER CALLED ME WITH TWO DIFFERENT NAMES, FRANK JOHNSON AND STEVE MILLER, ONE TIME THEY STATED THEY FROM IRS AND ANOTHER FROM ADVANCE AMERICA. THEY WANT ALL THIS INFORMATION BUT CALLS EVERY DAY TILL YOU ANSWER, BUT WHEN YOU ANSWER THEY DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THEY ARE CALLING AND WANT YOU TO GIVE THEM YOUR NAME, I STATED YALL ARE IDIOTS AND GOING TO HELL FOR TRYING TO SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY ESPECIALLY IN THIS HARD ECONOMY. REMOVED THEIR NUMBER AND BLOCKED FROM PHONE

Got a call from "McDaniel" of Advance America about a $5000 loan and that I needed to call back in 45 minutes.  He had a very heavy accent (Indian?) and I could barely understand the message he left.  The number he left was the same number as the caller ID 863-585-2141.  I have not and well not call him back.  

Got a call today from Mike Harris stating that he was from the IRS.  Asked for a return call.  I did not return the call.

Same here - male caller with a heavy LATM (or Indian) accent left a message indicating that there an issue with my tax return, and to return his call immediately to resolve it.  

Definite scam.  IRS impersonation is a serious offense.  Hope they're caught.

Just got off the phone with a "Steven Mark" who has called several times to speak to me. Again... heavy Indian accent. He started by asking if I filed a tax return last year, then upon an affirmative response, asked if I filed on time. I told him I had (already knowing this was a scam) and he continued on telling me that I owed $158.45 in "Late Fees." I asked him to give me mine and my husband's social security numbers, from my return, and he told me to hold while he got them. He then stalled and said, "Oh, well, the IRS doesn't give us anything except your name and phone number," at which time I informed him he was full of $%*^ and to NOT call my home again.

Called and asked for my daughter.  Said that he was from the irs.  We hung up on him and he called right back.  We said the the irs would not call us and that we would get a letter in the mail.  He responded that we would be getting the letter.  We hung up.   SCAM!!!

Received a call from a michael Clark, heavy Indian accent,  stating he was from the IRS, Advising there was a problem with my tax returns. Any questions Google IRS TELEPHONE SCAMS!! This number has been reported to the government hotline on the IRS web page along with his name.
