I answered the phone and the caller listen for a second then hung up the phone.

This is a Shriner's begging number.  If you call back, you have no option to not be called again.  The bad part about this call is that we are on the "no call list".

Called but didn't leave a voice mail when I didn't answer.

These people ARE required to follow the No Call List according to FTC terms: "If you are a for-profit telemarketer, you are NOT an Exempt Organization, even if you call consumers on behalf of an Exempt Organization, such as a non-profit. See, e.g., National Federation of The Blind v. FTC, 420 F.3d 331 (4th Cir. 2005)."

Report these jerks!!!! I did. I have nothing against Shriners but this telemarketing company is NOT following the law! I emailed them to cease & desist contacting me & will file harassment claim in small claims court if they call again. A few small claims losses will get them under control!

This collection agency has violated Federal Trade Commission guidelines for debt collections while attempting to collect a debt from me. You can file a complaint at 1-877-382-4357 (Federal Trade Commission help line) if you feel your rights have been violated. It takes about five minutes, and they will give you information on how to stop harassing calls.
