Actually, they just did the same to me but the new number is 1-866-873-9980. Threatened to serve me with papers within 72 hours at home and or place of employment
I called, got a recorded message and stated that I' ll call the FBI, and I will definitely do it if I receive another call.

received vm from this number----they left a case number which is bogus.  Threatened to serve me with papers within 72 hours at home and or place of employment.  Called number back was a recording----told them to send documentation of this debt otherwise I will consider this call a scam.

recorded message does not ask for anyone just says you have been named as a defendant and call this number to talk to the appointed mediator. this is bogus do not call the number call the FTC and FBI I have no idea who owns this number, do not intend to find out and if anyone wants to serve me with a lawsuit then I suggest it be done through the proper legal channels. And if they do want to serve me with anything they better have the sheriff with them. here in the United States attorneys do not work on holidays and do not send out telephone recorded messages, this is a scam do not call them back.
