a woman with a raspy voice has called from this number several times. Asking to confirm an appt with our HR dept from Tim Artmentar's office. I tried to get more info from her to confirm what she was saying, but she wouldn't even leave a call back number. She was very abrasive and unprofessional. Almost to the point of being hostile.

A woman from this number called and asked for the owner's name, but mispronounced it. She said she was Bernice from John Williams Company. I asked what it was regarding, and she said, "the business owner's meeting. She is listed as the business owner, right? I'm calling for my boss." I asked if the business owner's meeting she referred to had already been scheduled so I could confirm it, but she wouldn't answer and demanded to be put through. I did not, and let the call go. She did not call back.  After seeing these posts I highly doubt she was calling from the John Williams Company.

Missed 2 calls from this number at unreasonable times.  I would just like to know who they are.

Institute of Something or other....did not get thru and won't either...hee hee

This person called my office asking for me (I was out) they claimed to be from the Dakoka County Sheriff's office........

Lady called saying she wanted to set up an appointment to discuss employee benefits.  She had a raspy voice and when I told her that we had just set up our health plans with another company she said "You've got to be kidding" she hung up on me.  Very unprofessional.  I wouldn't answer if they called.

Called our business line twice in a row.  First time hung up on me, second time left no message.

We get calls from this same number and they are always wanting to talk to our HR Dept. I finally asked who she was and she said her name was Stacy Kilson from Byran Hearns office. They were wanting to do a follow up to set up a meeting with our HR Dept. So I called our HR girl and I asked if she wanted me to tell them we aren't interested so I did. I told her that we aren't interested and she said excuse me and I repeated myself. She said but I haven't told you what I am calling about and I said well you told me that this was a follow up with her to set up a meeting. She said oh so she must have heard my previous message what it was about and I said yes. Oh ok and she hung up. She wasn't that pleasant when I told her we weren't interestedn even though I was pleasant with her. So if a lady with a really raspy voice calls you from this company then I would recommend not even bothering.

Said his name was Jim Dixon and wanted to talk the person in charge of our insurance.  Would not leave message.  Very rude. Obvisouly sales call.

11/23/10 Caller identified himself as Adam Swinderman from Empire Blue Cross and asked for owner of company (asked for him by name, and then the owner passed the call back to me) "Swinderman" asked for our email address so BC/BS insurance could email us time sensitive materials. Assured us it wasn't for marketing purposes, just info related to our group policy. I said i wouldn't  give it out over the phone and asked for a number to call back and give it to BC/BS ourselves. He politely gave the correct number for client services at BC/BS and hung up but when I later called BC/BS they said they never would phone and ask for it and don't even have a space in the computer records to input a group's email address.
Then I called the 866-206-8844 number from the caller ID and got a recording saying please leave a message.
Must admit he sounded pretty professional -- I still don't know why I didn't just give him the email address. Glad I didn't.

Called asking for a person from a different company. When I told him that we didn't have anyone by that name and that he was calling the wrong company he hung up...and then called back 2 mins later asking for our HR department. I told him that we didn't have an HR dept (we are a small company) and he hung up again. Very clearly a salesman...

This guy called and asked for the girl in our HR dept. I keep seeing this number pop up on the caller id so I asked him who he was and he said Ray Miller. I said from what company, he said Brown and Brown but he was very short with me. So I called the ext but she didn't answer and so I got back to him and said she didn't pick up her phone would you like her voice mail and he said reluctantly: yeah. He wasn't very professional at all and I they are obviously changing the name of their business when they call because I posted another complaint Oct 25, 2010 and that lady said she was from Bryan Hearns office, so who knows who these people are. Obviously scammers.

Also when you call the number a very generic voice mail comes up. It doesn't even say what company it is.....thats a red flag!

I received this call today also.  Not sure what made me so skeptical of the caller but I knew something was just not right.  I asked for a # to have the manager call him back (to give me time to investigate) and I was told : Kevin, Westpoint office.
According to Kevin, he does not have a # to have the call returned at this time and he will call later in the afternoon to leave a #... very strange.  The 866-206-8844 is now disconnected or no longer in service and I just got the call about 1 hour ago

866-206-8844 keeps calling our office.  Once the person identified themselves as "Jim from William Hanks office" but would not provide more information when I inquired. Now they've called back a few times and just hang up

I've said it before and I'll say it again...I think there should be a law enabling people to hunt down telemarketers and pound them into a pulp.

Telemarketing is just another way of saying, "Give me your bank account so I can steal!".

This is Americans stealing from other Americans. Telemarketers are pure human filth, the scum of the earth. I would starve to death in the streets before I would stoop to the level of being a telemarketer.
