They?re legit. I was suspicious and refused to talk to them when they called, and doubly suspicious when I saw the comments on here, but I looked at the paper bill from the hospital ? the very first one I received, so it was a normal bill, not a delinquent account - and this number is on it. They?re the hospital?s billing service. They wanted to know why I had underpaid by 20 cents, and yes, I did mistakenly leave 20 cents off the check.

They sound shady because they identify themselves as the hospital?s business office, which is not true, they?re a third party. And they ask for personal information before they will discuss anything with you, so it sounds like they?re fishing for information, but it actually is a privacy measure. Go figure.

The caller didn't know why she called me. She asked if I owed a medical bill. I replied no, then she asked for my SS number. I said, "I don't think so."

I got 4 phone calls from these LOSERS in a 2 hour period.  Each time it was a stupid recording asking me  "If this is ******** please push 1"  Will guess what , STOP CALLING ME YOU STUPID LOSERS.  I had already paid the damn hospital after they made a mistake turning in my insurance information over 2 weeks before they started calling.  they aren't gettign any money out of me.  that's for sure.  A***OLE DEBT COLLECTION SERVICE,

Had surgery Dec of 2011. Paid what insurance did not pay in March of 2012 for $541.80 which was what I owed. One year later, March 2013, after receiving no further bills or statements from anyone. I start getting calls from this number stating that I owe exactly the same amount that I paid exactly a year ago. When I call the hospital, St. Francis in Greenville, SC they say I owe another $541.80, yet they can not tell me why or for what. I JUST OWE IT. St. Francis stated that they would investigate and get back with me. They never did, yet they did manage to hand my bill over to the collection agency. Ironic how I owe exactly the same amount that they were initially paid. Maybe the hospital needs to be audited.

Keep getting calls from robodialer with a message saying "if this is lilred75 please listen, if not lilred75 please hang up, my machine dont know to hang up, so therefore it keeps recording and I suppose to have a filing with this company and that a officer would be here to see me, to call and stop this, needless to say I have yet to answer the hateful a******s!

I received two calls from this number in 24 hours. I understand they are a medical bill collection agency. I don't care  who they are, I will not answer calls from callers who do not identify themselves,but would like to have my information. Forget it!This is harrassment.

I keep getting automated calls from this number asking me to call it.  No identification as to what company it is.  When I call back I never get to a person the line hangs up after telling me that my call is important to them.  NOT  The automated waiting system hangs up on me.

It is a collection agency that works for the way out of line Progress West Hospital in O'fallon, Mo. I was there a few months back for an outpatient minor procedure. I had separate bills for the Doctor, the x- rays, anthesthia. No complaint about them but I was there about a total of 2 hours and got shafted with a 4400.00 bill from the Hospital for using their hospital space. Even the Insurance paid stated it was over priced and only paid 1800.00 which was the max they would pay. Please do not use this place if from O'fallon, Mo area.  Thanks

So, guys what do u think? Should I pay them or not, because I paid 357$ to the hospital and they still need 177$. My friends told me do not answer or pay them. Legally they can do something to time since I am not a green card holder or a citizen? Will this affect my application for getting green card? Thanks all.

My calls from 866-213-7755 originate out of Gadsden, Alabama, and is a hospital bill collection service. I actually got a live person on line when I answered the third call, he gave me a call-back number which I did call and got the same person, and then looked up that phone number online.   We started getting these calls about 2 weeks after receipt of the hospital bill (which has been paid).  I called my real hospital who said they do use a service that is supposed to help people set up a payment plan.  The collection service could not name my hospital.

This is some collection agency that buys debts off of other collection agencies.  I had a hospital bill that went to a collection agency (Transworld Systems) after the hospital sent bills to the wrong address.  Since they thought I wasn't going to pay they sent it to collection.  The collection agency was able to find me, and I started paying them.  After a year, and my debt was paid off, they still wanted me to pay them.  I refused to pay them anymore, as I had already paid the amount owed (plus their fees), and the hospital said I had paid the amount owed, Transworld was just trying to strong arm me into paying extra.  So after a year of ignoring Transworld (I offered to pay if they would send me a statement showing what I supposedly owed, but they refused) they started to leave me alone.  Then one day I get a letter from this company saying they are collecting the debt ($127 now I believe) and that I should send them a check for that amount.  I ignored it, thinking it was a scam.  Then one day they called and I found out that they had bought my debt from Transworld (for pennies on the dollar) and now I was supposed to pay them.  I informed them that I had already paid the debt, they should talk to the hospital and see for themselves, and that if they bought my debt from Transworld, then they got jobbed.  They said they don't even know the hospital, or talk to them, they just bought the debt.  It's not my fault they got hosed by Transworld, but I'm not going to keep paying on a debt that is settled.

I'm so tired of getting these kinds of calls. Yes, I do owe a hospital bill--less than $300. How do a company like this get my information? I will pay my bill---in due time!!

I got a call from these people last month and no one would answer. Today I got another call from them and did not answer. They did not leave me a message. When I returned the call I asked them what it was a bill for... They could not tell me what the bill was for. I had just received the bill from my doctor on Monday (I had not been to this doctor since September) First they tried to tell me that I owed 60 dollars then after they could not tell me much information at all I just kept getting oh I don't know to almost every question. I was put on with the supervisor who also could not tell me anything. My bill is for 60 dollars then they tell me I owe 40 dollars and I know for a fact the bill was paid because I have the check that cleared the bank. They are rude and can not tell you anything that you need. Absolutely stupid. I told them I would not deal with them that I will only deal with the doctors office to which the bill is from.

Absolutely do not answer this number.  I had the misfortune of speaking to one of the most hateful and rude women I have ever talked to... ever.   Yes this is from a collection agency... medical debt.  I explained to the woman that I had already worked out a payment plan with the hospital and had been making the payments on time every month (I had surgery ... I think the total bill was somewhere around $23,000, and after insurance paid, I owed roughly $1,500.  Anyway the woman then went on to say that I was not supposed to pay the hospital... I was supposed to be paying them... (BS) and that she needed my banking information over the phone so that they could the payments directly from my checking account.  Well, I of course said no, I absolutely was not going to give any information over the phone period and that I would continue to pay the hopsital directly.  Then things got really ugly.  Before it was over she was practically screaming over the phone about how they were an authorized debt collection agency ... that they were secure... that they could ruin my credit... etc... etc... if I didn't give her the information she wanted.  Needless to say, I hung up!

I know! I am only 18 days since my insurance company paid them. I have a program from my work where they pay what insurance doesn't, I told them countless times that I was waiting on that to come in... they still call me!

This is Deaconess Hospital in OKC.  The are trying to collect a debit that is 15days   yes 15day since my Insurance Co paid.  I guess the must be going broke for my $242.00

got three calls today from this number at exactly 9:20, 12:20 and 3:20 so clearly it is a robo-call of some sort.  i do not answer calls that i don't recognize the number so they went unanswered and never left a message.  
i have had this cell phone number for 15 years so it is not a case of old owner of number being called.
