Man you people are paranoid. I just had a very nice VM from a lady at Waste Management asking me to return her call from this number. Most likely my bill is late, my bad.

got a call from this number and they left a voicemail saying I had an account with them to call back . I look my waste management account and I have paid them. No balance due

Yup, Waste Management. Never got my bill - they were calling to say it's over due. Paid over the phone and CC says Waste Management for the charge so everything's on the up-n-up. If some information or phone numbers are wrong in their system I suppose people could inadvertently get calls that aren't truly theirs.

I got a few calls from this number. The last time, they left a voicemail saying they were calling with regards to my Waste Management account, only I've never ever had an account with them. I called back to have them take my number off whatever account it's on, sat on hold for 16 minutes before deciding it's a waste of time.

I got a call from this number and I called and just like everyone in prior posts your on hold because all reps are busy taking other calls, but I did call the waste management local number and confirmed it had been them calling.  They verified that this number calls when the account is past due.

Got this call. Checked my account, and I have a $10 credit. No balance due. This is either a scam, or a bug in their system.

I can assure you it is Waste Management. It's an automated call to inform you about your bill. Call Waste Management and theyw ill clear up the confusion.

I answered & said nothing, after a moment I heard a recorded voice indicating that it was Waste Management with an important message about my account.  Only problem is, I don't have an account with Waste Management.  I went online, found a number, called and it turns out it is indeed Waste Management.  Somehow my cell # had been associated with an account in another city.  They kindly removed my number from the account, hope I don't get more calls.

I have received phone calls from this number every day for the past 4 days (first one on a SUNDAY, mind you).  Monday and Tuesday's calls were around 6:45pm, then Wednesday's call was at 11:30am.  Caller ID says "Toll Free Number".  I never answer and no message ever left.

There is no way this is Waste Management as other posters here say.  If you miss your Waste Management bill, they send you a reminder.  They don't call you, and would certainly never call you on a Sunday.  Or on a weekday past business hours, either.

I don't know who these people are, but they are annoying and persistant.

Strange that if this is WM that I should get a call from them right after I made an online payment. They left no message.

I have recieved calls from this number before in regards to waste managment account. whenever a number I don't know calls me regarding an account I do have I always call back using the number the company gave me when I signed up or opened an account.

Ya, its Waste Management. They have been calling me for months on an over due account. Only problem with that is this: I have never had an account with them. They won't take my number off what ever account its associated with even when I tell them they have a wrong number.

I got a call from this number and saw it was Waste Management.  I didn't call it back, but looked online at my WM account and I'm current, nothing past due.  I have no idea why they would be calling me, if in fact this # is associated with the past due department of WM. So strange!

It MAY be waste managment-but I don't even have them-NOR have I ever had an account with them.TIRED of these calls,too!

This is the accounting office for Waste Management. They're located in Tucson, Arizona, that's probably why the area code is different from your local area. In any event, it's not a crank call. More likely it's in reference to a past due bill.

It's not a scam.  I just missed a call from this number, Google'd it, and found it was Waste Management.  Guess why they were calling... I forgot to pay my bill!  This number isn't on their website because it's not a customer service number.  It's a number they use in their automated notice system. So pay your bill, and they won't call you from this number.

Waste Management

This is Waste Management calling to collect a past due bill.

Automated dialer called me and said to call Waste Management within 24 hours.  I didn't trust the number (largely because of this post), so I looked up Waste Management in my local area, called them, and they confirmed that they did call me concerning a past due payment.  So, your mileage may vary.

I received a call which I did not answer. But on the message they left, they asked me to call them within 24 hours with a threatening implication. I did so but while I was on hold, I googled the number and found this page. After which I hung up and called my local Waste Management company. They said this was definitely a scam and they never call anyone. It certainly looks like a scam and I won't be calling them back.

Got a message to call my waste management and when I looked up my waste management offfice numbers it wasn't anywhere on the list.

This number is associated with the Waste Management Customer Finance team.  I also received a call and spoke to them because I had not received my bill.

this number called me this morning and left a message they said it  was regard our waste management account. I called back but no answer "all our agent are busy please wait"
I got suspicious and research this number, and it doesn't show that it's a waste management numberso I think this is a scam.

I got a call from this number too. I have no idea who it is.  I tried to call it back, thinking if it was a business that someone would answer with a company's name - but no.

This keeps calling and you don't here who it is just a phone number?  Anyone know?
