When I answered there was no reply.

This number has been calling me several times a day, seven days a week for months.  I never pick up.  I finally had it today.   I picked up and told them off.  I never even gave them a chance to say who they were.   Lets see if it works....

They will not stop calling this house, this harrassment is insane. We do not have any association with these calls.

We have been receiving calls daily from thei number. Never a message, just beeping for about 30 seconds. Very annoying.

Repeated calls from this number, asked them stop calling. Told this party our number is on "do not call list", and was going to reporting there phone abuse.

I did not receive any more call from 866-229-1369 again since I placed the block request online.  It would seem that they do honor the process.

I called the number back but it wouldn't go through ("please try the call again").  I filled out the form at the LLS site to be excluded from their telemarketing program.  Hopefully that is legit.  I will report back if I don't get any more call from this number in the next week.

They call early in the morning, sr\tarting at  about 8;15am.call  evertday.  I once did a mailer for them.

They are calling me with all of their numbers. This is a Telemarketer that the charity uses and they charge a hefty fee so the charity will not see all of the money. If you want to donate the do it directly. I consider these calls harassment especially with the hangups. I keep a log of these calls and report them to the FCC as Abandoned Telemarketer calls. If the FCC receives enough complaints the they can act  and fine them. A lot of the phone numbers I have reported have been investigated and fined. I know this because the FCC has sent me notifications that the case was investigated and the offending parties were fined or closed down.

If you want real action taken against these harassing calls then file a complaint with the FCC. If these people call you on your mobile phone, you should definitely file a complaint with the FCC because that is illegal.  So go ahead and complain here and then file a formal complaint with the FCC. It might not get rid of them but it can slow them down.

Get calls every day from 866 22 1369 wish they would stop.  They don't leave message...

I called the number back like someone above said and it was a very nice recording that will allow you to have your number removed from their calling list...  It tells you by law,  they have 30 days to remove your # but will try to have it removed within the next few days.  I hope so  I hate the early morning calls from them....

This is getting ridiculous.  Not only do they call almost everyday, but early in the morning and late at night.  How do you stop them?

Called and left no message annoying

I have even picked up this call on the first or second ring, but no one says anything and it disconnects.

The person using the above number calls and doesn't leave a message.  They just hang up.  When my husband or I answer they don't answer.

Get calls daily, once or twice a day. getting very annoyed.
a local service provider for internet/phone/tv - Wide Open West or WOW - provides the ability to block specific numbers before it even gets to your phone. I have done that for my in-laws and it is a very good way to rid yourself of these if you have WOW.
My current solution (not having WOW in my area) is to answer and immediately hang up so I never talk to anyone on a toll free call such as this.
I'm glad this website exists to help us find out who these annoying calls come from.

Was getting called daily,but no message left .I just called the number and via the voice prompt was easily able to get removed from the calling list.

I don't even answer the phone.  My Caller ID shows me a number I don't know I let it ring.  If they leave a message and it's for me and not some Jose something or other (you all know what I mean) I return the call.  I earmark the number and if they call I will answer in future but only after they've proven to me that they are not phishers, spammers or bill collectors for someone else.  If they bug me enough I report them to donotcall.gov.  Seems to work every time.  If I get a call on my cell phone I always send them a one word text "Stop".  That seems to work too.  In time you can whittle these unwanted jerks away from you.  I even have fun with them.  I'll answer speaking in a foreign language.  They don't know how to handle that one.  It's funny and I laugh the rest of the day over it.  Sometimes I answer and act like I"m hard of hearing.  When it reaches shouting I insult them and hang up.  They get the hint.

I have also been receiving these calls for months it would seem. Decided I would call the Leukemia Society directly rather than using the 866 number that displays on the caller ID. They were very helpful and kind in how my request to be removed from their calling list. The organization is worthy of all donations and I will continue to support them. As I explained, I just don't need to have the constant calling.

ENOUGH!!!  All those employees calling from a Toll free number aren't smart enough to realize that I will NEVER answer their calls, yet they call over and over and over!  Please stop, you morons, get a life!!

this caller is harrassment i don't give over the phone

Non-profits are exempt from abiding by the do-not-call list.  Don't know if there is much we can do about it.  Try calling them back until you get a human on the phone and have them remove your phone number from their autodial.

This number calls at all times of the day, before 9am, middle of the day and later inthe evening.  No message, when I do answer I receive a recording that indicates this is not a working number.

This number keeps calling us.  Sometimes 3-4 times a day. Can someone stop them?  When we pick up the phone, the caller on the other end hangs up! It is extremely annoying, especially around dinner time.

We get calls from "800 Service multiple times a day."  Have answered and just started talking, telling them we are registered with donotcall.gov, then find myself listening to the echo of my own voice on the other end.  They have hung up.

I did this last year.  Out of 20-some neighbors, only 3 of whom I actually know, I got one donation.  Was a little embarrassing so I'm not doing it this year.  First of all, neighbors WILL NOT mail a donation.  I wrote up a card with my address and phone number and told them they could drop it off or call me and I'd come pick it up.  Nada, nothing, nil.  One retired military guy did walk to the house and gave me a $20.
