Assigned new cell number and now getting this caller.

the mailing address is PO Box 3140 Chesapeake, VA 23327-3140

I'm not getting calls but getting a bunch of post cards saying they are making a high school directory and want my bio information. I am to call this number 1866-260-3899 and give them my information for a soon to be published old high school graduate directory, 1980. Must be a marketing firm that companies use. No Thanks!

Well, I haven't been getting calls from them lately.  To be honest, when I got this e-mail today, as vague as it is, I had forgotten I had written it.  The address of the company is only about four or five miles from where I work.

We are registered with the National and State Do Not Call Registries, and have been for more than a year on our home phone (longer with the cellphones); and yet this has not been a deterrent for CTP North America.  They call at least twice a week after 8pm. Do they not heed the lists, or do they just not care? My understanding is that they are supposed to check the lists and ensure the listed numbers are not called.

They are now selling overpriced "Computer Protection" to Wells Fargo customers. The guy said I was such a good customer (didn't say bank or credit card as I have both) as they always do. lol   You don't have to buy that stuff, get it free from Symantec and back your files up. I did not answer the call because it was an 800 with Toll Free Call on Caller ID. Being on the National DNC List I figured it was one of my credit card issuers offering "credit protection" or that carpet cleaning woman that calls in violation of the DNC (she is now hiding under Caller ID - no number, no name). A check on here gave me their name. From their online page I found out they are a telemarketer for hire. The BBB gives them an A+ ( pay members get a good grade unless they are a complete dork).  Happy Phoning!

I had exactly the same thing happen to me. I told the person that I would like to think about it and I would call them back. He mentioned a number to call back but he didn't even ask if I had a pen and paper ready. He said that very quick and hung up. but duh, I'm not an idiot, I had a pen and paper at hand. the number he told me to call back was: 1-877-573-5668. DO NOT ANSWER a call from this number or anyone representing Wells Fargo and their so called "E-Defense" crap. Good day everyone.

BIGGEST IDIOTS, I get a call from this number and they have a recorded message with my name. Don't know who they are? This number should be banned and must be reported to cyber police

i GOT 2 CALLS THIS WEEK tHEY SAID TO CALL llc. Do not know who they are and they can stop calling!

I cant believe that I am not the only one who gets a persistent call from this CPP N AM! How can we get away from this caller??? And yes, the same thing, they also call as early as 8 am and as late as 8 - 9 PM! What should we do? How can we get away from this!

I don't know who this is...they never leave a message,  and when I try to return the call it's a recording to leave a message if a message was left for me!  lol

Called 952-541-5800 and got transfered to customer service and the lady said she took my number off the list. Ill let you know if it didnt work.

Has been calling 2-3 times a day for the last week while I'm at work. I finally was home for one of the calls at 7:30 pm, and the caller said he was calling on behalf of wells Fargo. I asked if it was about health or life insurance, and he immediately said "no, thank you for your time" and hung up. I just reported it on the FCC website.

They called to sell me an e-defense program

Just got a call today from this number.  Something about a "computer security package" sponsored by Wells Fargo (called like EDefend or EDefense?).  Anyways, they would send me an "enrollment package" and would have 30 days to try the software and choose to opt out of a $14.95 monthly fee.  The caller said there would be a $1 fee charged to my account, to which I asked if this would happen BEFORE I sent in the "enrollment package."  After several times of asking, I finally got a "yes, you will be charged the $1 fee BEFORE we mail you anything."  Like I'm going to authorize ANY charge to my account...

And like many of the posts above, they claim that they have my information on file and that I'm a Wells Fargo "valued customer."  Finally got the caller to shut up after I said I would investigate the software online and see if it was right for me :P

I called them and told them very adamently to stop calling me. I also told them I am going to notify the police for harrassment! They call me at least 6 or 7 times per day, sometimes before 8am and after 10pm! I also told them that I am on line and I am looking at 300 complaints from people who are sick of their garbage!! I have received numerous calls the past few weeks from 866-260-8866 with a caller id of "CPP N AM" and never answered because I didn't recognize the caller id.  I got curious and gogoled the caller id and found this site.  After reading several comments I was ready for the next call which came today, 6/18/11.  The man said he was representing Wells Fargo but when I asked why Wells Fargo did not appear on the caller id he immediately hung up.  

Oviously a scam and they need stopped.

THIS NUMBER CALLED AT 11:40 AM.  NO ONE ON THE OTHER END?????  IDIOTS!

This number calls 3 to 4 times a day! I even answered and no reply! GRRRRR!

Typical annoying Marketing call.  I didn't answer.  Put the # in "Reject" file of a Radio Shack Caller ID unit.  Next time, they'll hear a message saying, "This phone does not accept this type of call.  Good-bye."

this number calls my home phone # at laest 4 times a day.  how can i stop it??

I get calls from this number often. I called it back and a recording said they were CPP marketing promoters and I could leave a message. I left a message to not call my number again. We'll see what happens.

We receive calls from the above number at least once every day, and WE WANT IT STOPPED!!

866-260-8866 is  CPP North America. They keep calling and if they do not get the party they ask for they hang up without saying anything. I dialed the number back and after several times I finally got a message with the company name. They have a website and are 100% geared to soliciting and marketing. some of they targets are etired or soon to retire people.
Their website and IP address is registrered in the UK. When they call tell them to take you off their call list and hang up.

I do not answer 800 numbers and they call me every day no matter what time AM or PM.  I want them to stop as it is now getting to be a harassment.

This number is a Drug marketing  Company and they are  calling me  every day also.  I want them to  stop.
