How can I get them to stop calling me?

This phone number has been calling me for over a year now, and everytime I answered or had a voicemail, they stated that this is a "very serious call"....the odd thing is, after I'd updated my iPhone last year, I was able to block phone numbers that I didn't want receive calls from, so I immediately blocked this number. But I just found in my voicemails, numerous messages from this same number!  When I "block" a number on my phone, normally I don't see that the person is calling me, nor can they leave me a message, but somehow this phone number has been getting through to my voicemail, and leaving the same message for almost four months!! (which is infuriating!) I have over 20 voicemails from since Dec. 2, 2013 from this phone number and every message they had left is the same man speaking, saying the same exact thing every single time!!!  Even worse, I am not who they are looking for, so every voicemail says "hi Rebecca"!! Even though I'd asked this caller several times in the beginning, before I was able to block it, to not call me please because I am not who they are looking for, they DTILL insist on doing so!  They obviously don't believe me &/or have nothing better to do!!ad far as I'm concerned, this IS harassment!!!!

Told me he had a personal financial matter he needed to discuss with me & asked me for the last 4 digits of my SSN.  I hung up.  I then called back & it states hi this is Jim leave your name & number.

Just another thing that's broken. The do not call list. Bunch of dumb a***s.

Same problem with Mrs Smith that you had above. She is rude and demanding information over the phone. I did not know her name was Mrs Smith until I called back and got her voicemail. She did say her company was ARS but would not say what the call was regarding or what the company did unless I gave her information "to verify that you are Dan" which of course I did not. I even offered to come to her office but that I do not give information out over the phone. She was not interested in that.

She said that she is "Mrs. Smith" and have a very serious personal business matter to discuss with me and  wanted part of my social security number. and date birth date

Keep getting Mrs. Smith calling me at my employers phoner number. NOT COOL and how rude. I not answering and hope Mrs. Smith just gives up.

Got a call from this number.  No message.  I called back and got "you have reached the desk of Mrs. Smith" it went on to ask me to leave a phone number and message.  I didn't.  I'll continue to ignore this phone number

Left a message..this is mrs. Smith, call me back at this number.

Mrs. Smith was calling my daughter, said it was a business matter.  I called back just to hear what company is calling, all it said was "Mrs. Smith."

I just got the same call told me it was not a telemarketing call and it was very important.  I'm not calling back.

same thing they contacted my wife to get hold of me and wanted the same thing, not calling back either

Calls every two days and doesn't leave a message.
