Adding to DO NOT CALL LIST

I also got a call from this woman who said they were calling from CIBC credit card services and that they were automatically enrolling in me in the 'My Identity Assist' program.  It sounded fishy, so I started pressing her with questions and then she ended the call by thanking me for my business and hanging up.

Anytime I've received calls from CIBC, they show up on my call display as CIBC.  Definitely a scam and I'm going to report them to CIBC directly.

I just tried calling this number, it is Primus but they give an option to be removed from the calling list of Primus and to enter in your number.  I did that and they say it will take up to 30 days to be removed but hopefully it will work.

I just reported them to the Canadian Do Not Call List.  Lets hope this works!

I'm on the do not call list and still getting various calls from tele-nuisances daily, maybe a complaint to Primus and also to your local phone service provider might stir things up. The government regulation and the List are't working. I noted that since I got on the List, I seem to be getting more, not less calls!

They call every day...never leave a message, that is so annoying!  But today I called the number back, the call was on behalf of Primus.  You can put your number on a " do not call list " but they say it can take up to thirty days for your number to be removed.

Shove it up your butts, you ninkumpoops.

I answered and no one was there... it was a call that came in at 9pm.  Creepy

THEY CALLED BACK AGAIN TODAY!

I recived a phone call from a man tonight at this number at 7:39 PM he asked for a lady that did not live here i'm guessing she use to have my phone in her name befor i recived it. I said ''No you have the wrong number and then he tryed to get me to buy a long distance plan'' When i kept telling him ''no thanks'' i have a long distance plan on my cell phone.. he just kept laughing and repeting the question to me i just told him to f*uck of and hung up. I hope they dont call back!! It's been 3 times this week

These idiots don't seem to understand that the only calls I want at 9pm are booty calls, and certainly not telemarketing calls.

I'm on the do not call list now, so I'm assuming these a**holes are getting as many calls in before they are forced to remove my number from their database on November 3rd. I think I might complain to the regulatory body anyway, be nice to know that Prime-a** are getting hit in the wallet for annoying me when I'm watching CSI!

I get calls from this number quite a bit.

Today it was a man, broken english. He asked to speak with me (saying my last name wrong). After that I said "Please remove me from your calling list" he then grumbled and disconnected the call.

I called the number back and it was a calling agency that called on behalf of Primes long distance in Canada. I don't even have a land line!

In short call your provider and complain.

I got a call at 9 pm one night, i yelled at her and told them never to call again. the next day they called again, it was primus

I finally answered this caller. It took about 5 seconds for some to finally answerer.  I asked who was calling - it was "Primus"  Asked them not to call me anymore -hope it works.

Update:

I called the number and got a recording. The service makes "direct marketing calls on behalf of Fortune 500 companies". Recording then instructs "to be removed from the call list, write to ____ [unintelligible] at __ King Street, Toronto, Ontario"!

Can you believe it-- write, not call!!!
