Yes they use different company names. In Naples Florida they call themselves Legacy Vacations. They just move from town to town preying on people who will give them money and moving on to the next town without leaving a trace because they have no website, their business is not registered (i.e. not legit), and they change the "company" name. They are litterally STEALING your money. Please: all idiots: do not fall for this.

It looks like this is largely a Washington State "scam". I received a card in the mail 2 days ago at Blaine promising a Marriott stay and airfare for 2 because of "your ability to maintain your personal lines of credit" but to respond to a different phone # : 1-888-288-4684. Also, it appears they are obtaining our addresses-certainly mine, from the local phone directory since my name is identical to the listing.
I advise you can "fight this" in 2 ways:
1. Take the post card you received to your local the post office and have them submit it to the postal inspector who will investigate these people for postal fraud, a federal offense, especially if enough of us submit them.
2. report this to the Washington State attorney generals office. Again, if they get enough complaints they will probably investigate especially those of you who lost money to this "scam". They offer a "General Consumer Complaint Form" that you can fill out on line.
Finally, good luck in pursuing these S.O.B.'s.

I got the postcard in Oregon, for stays at the Marriott. I guessed it couldn't be true but was ready to call to see what they'd say. Instead I found this website. Thank you to all of you who have shared your experiences! I'll now recycle my card.

my wife and i attended the paradise today presentation in federal way. didn't buy the membership, but did get suckered on the 'gift' air travel voucher. sent $70 nearly a month ago, and haven't seen a thing. e-mailed, but they all they will say is that they are 'processing' us. they deposited my check on 9/22/09, so one would think they've had plenty of time. avoid these losers if you can; i wish i had.

Got my postcard saying I'd won 3 day 2 nights at a Hilton, has a picture of a Hilton and their logo as well.  It too says I get a free $100 gas card, $30 dinner card and 2 round-trip airline tickets.  I was struggling with how anyone could afford to offer so much for free in these hard times and found your website.  I will be ignoring this postcard.  Just wanted to let you know that it is making it's rounds - I'm in Dayton, Ohio so it's gone from the west coast to the midwest now.  Gosh, I sure hope people are smart enough to throw this card away! Thanks for everyone's posts, very appreciated!

Paradise Today took out a full page ad in the Cincinnati Enquirer. When I called the number 1 866-293-4110, they made it sound so legit. So after setting up a time for the presentation, I found this site. Thanks for the posts. I would have hated to waste my evening.

I received a mailing from "Sun Trips" at 6403 Burben Blvd, Pasco, Wa 99301.
It sounds like the same offer, different names.  Shell and Chevron logos.  Offering two free flights and a free $300.00 gas voucher for call within 72 hours.  "Restrictions apply" and same "Marriott getaway" offerred, but "not affiliated with Marriott" etc.
Mapquest could not find that address or even the street in Pasco, Wa.
Phone listed (did not call) 866-880-7274.  I believe it to be the same scam outfit.  That number is listed as suspicious on another website.  I'd say so!
Glad I did not call.
Thanks for this web site.

I received a very similar card (similar offer, identical wording, etc) in Spring Valley CA with NO return address or company name beyond a North Hollywood bulk mail permit number. I called the phone number, 888-288-4684, and it sounded like the recorded message said "SB Global Marketing". Do a Google search for that name and you'll find a website with almost no content other than a PayPal button for your use in forfeiting as much money as you'd like.

Received a similar postcard offer from Epic Marketing-Coral Springs FL 33065 featuring the Hilton logo very prominantly...all the same small print as previous postings.  Phone number 877-217-6450.  I reside in Cleveland, OH.

See Henry's 10/10/2009 posting for 2 possible actions you can take against these crooks.

I sent them $70 to activate the vacation deal, and $70 to activate the airfare, which were supposedly a gift for listening to a vacation membership promotion given by Paradise Today. What I received was a registration card that now must be sent with $99 per person (me and spouse), in order to register our "Entitled to Receive" vacation. This is a scam, in my opinion, and at the very least highly deceptive manipulation. I thought I had more sense than to be suckered like this.

Scammed. In Sept, these scam artists came to Eugene. I  Got the card, made the trip to Ramada Inn and paid the money.over $5000.  The free RT is definitely a scam. I paid about $300 in "fees" and can't use the airlines or rooms because of all the restrictions.  Now what ??

I received one of these cards and I called them and attended the presentation, I did not buy into the program but I called Paradise Today to find out more info on the status of my certificates which I sent in. They told me that they have nothing to do with these certificates, that they get them from a third party company called Celebrity Productions (which was the name on the certificate given to me) and that they just use it for promotional use, that the trips are not done through them. They gave me Celebrity Productions phone number 888-873-8854, hope this helps!

Wow! I am so glad I found out before i spent more money on this scam. The flyer came to my job through a fax, so I figure it was legit. I gave them my credit card number spent 299.96 on the trip for two and got some bu***hit certificaten in the mail. I spent another 20 to redeem the dam certificate. I started looking up Celebrityproduction and found out very little info. THIS IS A SCAM. I thought this would be a great getaway for me and my new husband.

I received the same postcard about my ability to maintain my personal lines of credit they were rewarding me with the 3day/2night stay at a Marriott/Fairfield/Holiday Inn, they were also giving me 2 airline tickets to any of the above hotels in the continental USA, $100 in gas, $30 dinner card to Olive Garden, Red Lobster, or Carrabas and many more if I called in 48hrs.  The fine print says that this promotion is not sponsored by or affiliated w/Marriott, but is a major supplier of sponsor, it also says that fees and taxes for the hotel and air the responsibility of guest and certain restricions apply, it also says that this is NOT a timeshare solicitation. Then it says: Epic Marketing assumes no liability in trademark and/or copyright disputes, the logos and insignias, designs and trademarks are printed and reproduced only to show examples of hotels used by epic...whatever this is definitely a scam looking at how they use, abuse, and contradict themselves....where can we report this!  Here in WA there is a "get jesse" on King 5 news??? maybe that would be a place to get attention about this...the local news?!

Got a post card from Epic Marketing 866-293-4010 saying I've been selected to receive a 3day/2night stay at one of Marriott's 600 locations nationwide. In addition, if I call within 48 hours I will also receive 2 round-trip airline tickets anywhere in the Continential U.S., plus $100 in gas and $30 gift card, etc.

What's the catch? Does anyone have any information on this? Does Marriott have anyconnection to this?

Got same card. Did not bother to call because then they have your phone number. My card read "...because of ability to maintain personal lines of credit..", but on the address label it read my name or current resident. Please, if that does not scream marketing scam, I dont know what does.

Too good to be true usually means it is not!

I tried calling the number to see what it was all about. Initially I just heard music, no identifying information at all. Then a voice came on and said. "Reservations." I asked, "Reservations for what?" Though it is not a promotion for a time share, it is for a company called Paradise Today which is promoting "future travel" for vacations. The prospective buyer will need to sit through an hour and a half presentation at a local hotel (for their sales pitch, I'm sure).

I did mention to the individual who answered that I wasn't sure if the company was legitimate since there were 11 grammar, syntax, spelling, and punctuation errors. Hmm--not very professional in my opinion.

Received a similar postcard to the one below but did not call due to what was revealed below:

"We received a postcard from Epic Marketing inviting us to attend a travel seminar given by Legacy Resorts. We called and were told we'd get 2 tickets for roundtrip travel in the continental US plus 3 days in a hotel just for attending the seminar even if we didn't buy their travel package. We would have to pay $140 for taxes/fees for the "free" tickets, etc. We paid via Paypal to Celebrity Productions, and got nothing but some slick brochures from PTS Travel and VIP Travel Reservations, Inc., with requests for another $180. Total SCAM! And Paypal won't even refund our $140 because "It was not an eBay transaction." Epic Marketing even had the nerve to call us later and ask us to recruit 5 friends for the same deal - and we would get a "free" digital camera! Don't fall for this SCAM, and also be aware that they use many different company names."

I am so angry that I paid 35.00 for one of the activation fees and yes
never heard from them.
Has anyone been able to get their activation fee back from PayPal.
If so I would like to know how you did it.
I am going to contact the Red Lion Hotel in Eugene Oregon and let them know
that their reputation is being destroyed and can they advise what to do.
