They call my cell phone every day and when I do not answer, they immediately call my husband's cell phone.  The voice mail usually is blank or "hello" or "hey".
All the identification associated with the call is United States.

I receive 3-5 calls PER DAY from this number! The caller never leaves a message; I suspect it is an automated call.      How can I make these calls stop and/or find out who is calling me w/o returning the call?   Any helpful info would be appreciated.  Thank you.

listen up you bitter ignorant individual.  I've been getting these calls for about 3 weeks - EVERYDAY.  I do not have an account with these people, nor have I ever but, apparently  someone with my same name has one and is delinquent with their account so RBS/Citizens took it upon themselves to call EVERYONE with my name and harass them to death.  I had to prove that I was not the person they were looking for in order to get my phone # removed from their database.  Don't be so quick to judge.  In all likelihood the people complaining here are actually NOT delinquent like me and that's why they posting about these terrible, unethical companies tactics.  You're such a fool.  Good luck in life.

This # has been calling continuously for weeks....several times a day/night.....leaves no messages

I've had this number for over 6 years. I don't know/never heard of the person they are looking for. Yet, these a**holes call none stop. 17 times this weekend, 4 times on monday, 3 on tuesday, 8 on wednesday, and 3 times already this morning and it's only 9:30am. Only twice has there been a recording, every other time they just hang up about 5 second after you answer. I've started recording the calls and will report them after I finish typing this. Also thinking about file a lawsuit, because this is getting ridiculous.

mt friend is 4 days late on a payment, just 4 days late! and he has gotten over 7 calls in the last 2 hours. he is at work and can not answer these calls. he called the guy back and he actually was telling my friend he should have just answered. the guy was a complete a**hole and very condescending to him. This is harassment and should be illegal. He has already made and arrangement with his cc company and they still sent him to collections. i mean really 4 days late on the payment and they get that uppity? he gets paid next friday and already told his cc this and they just dont care, i am sorry but rent had to be paid with the last paycheck so there was nothing left to pay this bill till the next. I cant believe people can not manage to be considerate of people who just started working again after their company laid them off. they wouldnt even lower his payments so he could pay them no problem. There is so much going on in the country right now with people getting laid off and having to hunt down another job that these companies should be understanding and work with their customers. if a student loan from a private lender can lower their monthly payments but a cc company can not there are problems here. i suggest everyone file cease and desist letters so they can only be reached by mail. best option.

866*298*6113 is an EVIL number. Call the attorney general in your state and make a complaint. Have all your information ready. Perhaps get the email address of you atty General or Deputy General and send an email with all the information. The Attorney Gen is the ONLY way to stop the harassment.

These people call everyday wanting 1,700.00. They say they are RBS/Citizens. They are rude and threatening. I don't owe this money but they will not stop calling. They want an electronic transfer from me. I am now blowing a police whistle into the phone everytime they call to make it a "totally miserable" experience for them to keep harassing me. They deserve the whistle treatment. Boo-Yah for me. Give the police whistle a try if they bother you. Get a little satisfaction for yourself.

Oh, BOO HOO!  You could all try this for a change --  PAY YOUR DAMN CREDIT CARD BILLS!!   You keep complaining about harassment and yet the one thing you all have in common is a lack of RESPONSIBILITY!  Pay back what you owe - that will stop the calls.   Stop giving excuses why you CANT pay and why its someone elses fault.  If you put half as much work into trying to source funds to pay your bills as you do complaining about the calls, you would have your BORROWED MONEY paid back by now.  Quit crying about your phone ringing AT LEAST YOU HAVE A PHONE (which by the way could probably be disconnected considering most of you have 2 or 3 #s listed on the file so we all know you have cell and home phones and we can hear your friggin tv sets in the backround so we know you have cable)  please...   grow up - its a ringing phone for heavens sake............................... be greatful you have one, be greatful you have hands to answer it, ears to hear it and a voice to use it.

Is there anything that can be done? Who wants their phone ringing constantly for the same annoying recordings, "Please hold for an important message", then, "All our associates are currently unavailable". I hold because I want to determine who this is and get the calls to STOP but then THEY DISCONNECT the call!!! How frustrating...This is harassment!

received a call from this number regarding a business matter involving the the husband of our daughter who passed away over two years ago. i told them not to call again and hung up the caller!

Still receiving all these phone calls I reported to your company Saturday 01-24-2009. Now the calls are more regular about every five (5) or ten (10) minutes apart days, nights and week-ends.
Bank of American, Capital One, Chase, RBS and Washington Mutual are the Callers.

I have received 8 calls in the last 2 weeks. The recorded message says "Please hold for an important message", the about 15 seconds later another recorded message says, "All our associates are currently unavaiable". They don't identify who is calling or why.
