We have been getting the same calls from a Tammy!! Glad I looked this up she has been calling repeatedly all this week! But we have not responded to her requests! Thanks for the information.

Just recieved a call from "wendy" as well, from tier one saying that same thing. I gave no info because she was so pushy and rude, interrupting etc..   the number was 855-492-7159

My shop foreman said he talked with "our head branch" credit card company supervisor (who called us) and they said they were taking over our account because the original company had been sold to them and they were really the one who did all our processing anyway. They also pointed out the overcharges the "old company" was charging us and that is why they were now in charge of our account.and the other company were the bad guys. They needed to update our information so they could get the refund started of $1200.00 in overcharges. I knew the company was to be taken over The bookkeeper said she got a letter saying so. Trouble is....it wasn't the right company who called....it was Teir 1 processing fooling us by pretending to be in contract with us and the update was for our current account.
Trouble is, it worked, I believed we were being told the truth and sent the updated company information to get the refund and stop the overcharging and get rid of the bad processing company.
We live in the country./sticks....we don't get lied to very often, if at all. Being a trusting person/company is very foolish these days.
I wonder why we get recorded but many people can not record them the (CROOKS )making the sales lies.pitch... I even told them we worry about scams and wanted to be sure....we were transferred to a head supervisor for "our account" and were told everything was in order and we needed to reprogram the terminal to keep the "Bad guys from getting any more fees that they were charging us for.  
I put a stop payment on our accounts and have hired a lawyer to represent us in a FRAUD by INDUCEMENT case.
I hope this helps someone BEFORE they fall for this SCAM SLAM

got the same call everyone in this thread posted about also.  855-492-7159 ex 1311 for Tammy.  She called our business and told our receptionist that there was a problem with our merchant services statement and to call them right away.  I called back from my cell and she wanted me to fax her a copy of our statement (because they had a paperless operation and didnt have access to the most recent bills yet)   I told her I needed to check with our processing company and would not send her a statement.   She called our office 3 more times in the next 3 days about the same issue.  I called back to explain to her that I knew that they werent with our processing company and to take us off their calling list.  before I could get that information out, she insulted me and hung up.   I called back to speak with a manager about taking our business off the call list and was put on hold indefinitely.  I called again from another number and was able to speak to someone who very nicely took care of my request.  

It is frustrating when you are trying to run a business and have people like this waste your time, not just once, but several times over several days.

Tier 1 called me stating that I was overcharged for rates and processing fees on my credit card transactions.  They needed me to fax a copy of my statement (which I did but crossed out all important info).  They called back stating that they will send me forms to fill out to send back along with a VOIDED check.....then I knew something wasn't right.  I called my processing company and they said not to do anything else with this company as it sounded like a scam.  Boy, am I glad that I didn't do anything else with this Tier 1 Processing company!!

I was also called, They claimed that we were being overcharged by our merchant service. That the national average was 2% and we were being charge 2.4%. I actually faxed a copy of an old statement. When I tried to interrupt their fast talking manager, she kept talking over me asking for their address. Then hung up abruptly. Yes I feel like a fool

I got a call from 855-781-2364 & 813-463-4715.  A man named ARTHUR BOLDON WITH Tier 1 Processing.  He said I had been overcharged for my credit card fees.  That no one should be charged over 2% and that I was charged 4% and that they were going to try and get me a refund, send me reporting on the overcharge etc.

She asked for my terminal #, Paymentech Merchant # and Federal Tax ID #.

I asked for proof of what company He was with.  He faxed me a one page form from her company.

COMPANY IS SUCH A SCAM, I CANNOT BELEIVE THIS IS ALLOWED.....

Do not give any personal or business info to anyone claiming to be from TIER ONE PROCESSING. They're all over the internet...as a scam! They will ask what your fees are on your last statement, tell you you're being overcharged and they need to look into that for you and get with the company. She then asked me to fax a copy of our last statement. I told her I needed to speak with the owner before I could do that and she asked if I couldn't fax it first and then speak with the owner. HA. End of story.

DO NOT GIVE INFO to Tier 1- Merchant Services-  Same deal... they say they want to verify that I wasn't charged over 2% for lawsuit reasons stemming back from the day when Visa was "possibly" over charging.  Same thing- they just want you to switch merchant services.

Just call a call from a processing company   855-781-2364   ext 1311    saying I was being overcharge on my credit card processing fees by 2%.  Wanted me to call back with account info.  Checked here online and see that its a fraud.   Letting my credit card processing company know this is going around.

Got a call from Wendy of Tier 1 who told me that a red flag came up on my merchant account that I was being charged over 2% and this was an overcharge...She told me to fax my statement to her and they would mark the areas where I needed to keep watch for overcharges. It turns out I am being charged more than I was told by my financial company however, the call didn't feel right to me so I googled the number and came up with this site where other people got the same type of call. I did call my financial institution to find out what this was all about and was told that they are another merchant trying to get my business. I am not going to send my statement to this company but I am going to talk to my merchant company about my rate. So, even though they are not going to get my business, it did alert me to the fact that there are higher charges on my bill that were not agreed to...my concern is this....how did they know I was being overcharged...this means they have my information and THAT is not a comfortable feeling.

Received a call from a women claiming to be from Tier 1 Merchant Services at 1-866-301-5564.  She indicated she was with Visa and they work with our merchant service provider.  She said she had been 'flagged' because we were over paying for fees and they were going to review and fix the over charge.  She then wanted a copy of our statement.  Once I said I thought it was weird she would need my statement she hung up on me.  SCAMMERS!

Received a call from 866-301-5564 x 1315 caller ID showed 214-261-4611. Woman identified herself as Christine Brown. She requested that I produce a print out of my fees from my processing account to give to her so I could be refunded for over charges from Visa and MasterCard.

I spoke with my processors and they said the call did not come from them and it was reported as phishing.

I got a call from this number and they told me they were tier 1 processing and our business was flagged for being over charged.  Said we were at a 4% when no one is supposed to be over 2%.  i gave out no information and simply ended the call.  they called you claiming to be one business and called me claiming to be another. im glad you wrote letting everyone know it is a scam.

Received a call from a young man saying that he was with Visa.  He said that he needed to do an update download on my credit card terminal.  He asked me for my terminal ID and business information.

I hung up and called my credit card processor to get my terminal ID and they advised me that this is just a scam.  The company is called Main Street Processing and this is just their way of attempting to "slam" us.  Slamming is switching credit card processors without consent and/or proper authorization.
