Could also be BNP Media LLC, another company that publishes a wide range of those types of trade publications. Either way, they will all be happy to remove you if you simply let them know there's a problem. Their contact number is: 248-362-3700. From my personal experience, they wiull also be happy to remove your number when it's incorrect. They have no desire to be annoying people and generating complaints.

People need to understand when large companies use automated renewal systems, they are only attempting to contact numbers that were provided to them in the past. In the time it takes most people to come to these sites and bi***, which gets you nothing by the way, you could do a 15-second google search, then contact the company and have your number removed. Wow - problem actually SOLVED! Go figure!

It only calls fax machine numbers that have been entered into their system when someone registered to receive a free subscription and entered your number in the "FAX #" box. It's that or it's from the site http://www.tradepub.com/ where you would have had to enter the number in the "FAX #" portion of the registration form. Happens all the time when people don't remove the numbers or update their profiles at those site when they change numbers, change jobs, move, or all three. Perhaps start by Motorcycle & Powersports News Magazine via their website or by phone from their contact info. I might also try contacting http://www.tradepub.com/ and see if they can search their database for a previous registration that contains your number, then explain the problem and ask them to remove the number from their records as it's no longer valid.

This number faxed a renewal form for a trade magazine...can't remember what I did to start receiving the mag in the first place and I don't care if I never get another copy.   To opt out, call 800-952-6643 or fax 248-786-1407 or email snips@halldata.com.  It says you must identify the number you want them to stop sending faxes to.  Never bothered to do this, so I don't know if it works.

THEY TRY TO FAX EVERY MORNING TO MY CELL NUMBER

M-F between 7am and 8am Central time every day call comes in. Has been going on for over a year.

I continue to receive attempted faxes from 866-324-8417 at all hours of the day, including between 5:00 and 5:30 AM 4 times in the past week.  I called the number this morning and was connected to an automated system which prompted me to enter my telephone number stating it would remove it from their list.  We shall see.

Dennis: do you note the common thread here? Your computer gets a number. People get called. They are afraid of calling your system to OPT OUT because they have been told "Do NOT give your phone number to strangers." (The irony that your computer ALREADY HAS their number is not lost on me.) So your computer continues to attempt to deliver the FAX. More calls. Eventually people freak out. Perhaps you need to re-think how this system works, Dennis. What if you only attempt a couple of calls and if you cannot get delivery then abort FAXing and call the voice number or send a US MAIL message or e-mail?

I would never buy anything from some company that doesn't have the marbles to understand NO ONE WANTS TO GET ADS BY FAX!!! Any company that does that is wasting their money and my paper as far as I'm concerned.

I have also received numerous calls from this fax number on my voicemail system.  I went to Paetec.com and located their local office.  I've called them and left a message alerting them that if this number is connected to their company in any way, I want it shut off immediately so I am no longer receiving these unwanted calls.  I did tell them that if it was not shut off, I intended to file a complaint with my state attorney general's division of consumer affairs.

Here's a great idea I learned from other posters...and it works! They'll gladly take you off their list, and you get some revenge at the same time.
Use a word processing program, like 'Word' and paste into it a large section of dark black images, or just black out the entire page (read lots and lots of toner here!)
Copy the image 10-20 times, and fax it to the # they consistently call you with (in this case 866-324-8417)
Repeat as you feel necessary. (Evil grin). Believe me, after they've received dozens of pages of blacked out images, or solid black pages (uses the most toner) they'll call you and BEG you to stop.
I always tell them to PERMANENTLY remove me from their 'harassment' calling lists and I'll quit faxing them.
It's worked several times for me. It's sad that a simple call with a polite request doesn't do the trick. Try this and let me know how it works out for you!

I have recently signed on with ASI Central and shortly after started getting these calls. Does anyone else getting these annoying calls happen to belong to ASI? It is worth asking.

I have traced this number to Paetec. Check out paetec.com. Give them a call and let them know that you are tired of the treatment coming from one of their customers. This is harassment. Dennis, you are working for a scam artist that is making a lot of people angry. You will get yours.

Stop calling my fax number!!!

i may not have been clear in my last post, the number 886-324-8417 is a toll free number which you can call and have yourself removed from ever being called by us again. Call and follow the instructions that allow you enter your phone number into our system's do-not-call list.

I work in a State Government Bldg. This number has called at least six times in the past three hours. I have caller id it says name not provided. Tried to call the number back and get out of service message. RRRRRRRR!!!!

Calling the number you only get a busy signal so it does not allow you stop the unwanted faxes.  Is there a email that we can send messages too?

I get faxes from this number.  The last one was from American Society of Landscape Architects - (I am a member).  However I do not believe that 866-324-8417s exclusively theirs.  I think the number is from a
service that sends out faxes for many companies.

Receiving 2 to 4 calls per week. Called do not call.

Received repeated calls from this number between 12 and 1 am on my cell phone.

When I called the number a receptionist tok my number and name and then preceeded to ask me additional questions.  I wonder what she doesnt undestand about you are calling me - please take my CELL PHONE off you fax calling list.

They keep on calling me and it is a fax number!!!!  I have no idea who this is.  How frustrating!!

It is soo irritating!!! Its at least once a week good thing school is over cause they at least 5 times called me at school with my phone NOT on vibrate (though thats my fault). Someone just try and fax them back hahaha.
