for all that are wondering what this is it is a debt collector.  They call you and state that they are trying to deliver court papers. Than they stated that if you call this number and make arrangments they will not take you to court. While trying to make arrangements they put you on hold and supposely check with the legal dept. If you don't agree to the terms they are trying to get than they tell you that they will send it to the court system. depending on what your debt is there is a time limit that they are able to get money out of you look into that.

a collection office they try to scare you with court to pay a bill that is more than 10-15 years old.

Everytime they call and I answer, they hung up on me! and when I dont answer, they let it ring and ring and ring!!

I dumped Eastlink back in the early spring. Still trying to sell me more crap programming.

I have my internet with Eastlink, not my cell phone which is text only.  I've called the number, left a message not to call, and now, each time that they do..I text them about 15 times with the same message....Remove this cell number, it is on the DO NOT call list.  I do not want your services.  DO NOT CALL AGAIN.

I do this about 15 times hitting the re-send button. I have unlimited texting.  If they are going to annoy me...I'll reduce my annoyances by keeping their phone line busy with annoying text messages. Thankfully I have unlimited texting and a fast thumb for texting.

This is getting more than annoying. I shallo have to take my business elsewhere if it does not stop.

I have internet service with Eastlink and just called them to tell them to stop with the telemarketers and the guy said he'd put me on "Privacy." He was very nice about it. I'm a long time customer. :)

I have been getting tons of calls from this number and Iam sick of it!!!

I got a call from them March 25 at 8pm. I wasn't home and they left no message. If indeed it is a call on behalf of Eastlink, Eastlnk customers cannot expect the Do Not Call List to do any good as you are an Eastlink customer and that gives them the right to try and contact you for any reason. If you aren't an Eastlink customer, the DNC list should be honored (yeah right, we all know how that works)

Does anyone have an idea of who is calling from this number?

I have had 15 calls from this company in the past three days.  I have my name on Canada's Do Not Call List so I shouldn't be getting telemarketing calls.  If it is Eastlink, they should say that it's Eastlink, not a telemarketing company.

No response from the other end.

Just been having the same problem called up eastlink and complained.  I am now saving app. $40 a month for a year on my eastlink bill.  Yay!!!

Starting on Sept 9th, they have been calling nearly every day 1 to 3 times.
