I don't even deal with TD. They have no reason to call me.

I keep getting calls from this number 1 866-366-6138.
Pretending to be from TD Canada Trust - The Bank, "to talk to me about my account" and asking be to call back at same number.
I have no such account and 366-6138 does not correspond to any TD Canada Trust phone number.

This number calls my home up to 10 times per day. It is harrassment and fraudulent in thenature of the calls. i WANT IT STOPPED.

Received multiple calls from this number over the last few hours (every 10 to fifteen minutes) - called TD Visa, and a very nice lady looked it up, and 866-366-6138 is ~NOT~ one of their numbers.

I found out that they are actually TD canada trusts Accounts Rec. department.
maybe you guys chould actuallly call in and find out why they keep calling thats what

also I asked why they keep calling and hanging up...
they said they were running on a auto dialer that hangs up after a set time if no one picks up.

If they asked you for your Credit card numbers and Banking information its one thing but when they call to just say Pay your past due balance in an over extreme polite manner its nothing its a reminder because you f***ing people are incompitant and can't be reasonable enough to pay your f***ing bills on time. maybe if you spent more time being responsible and less time searching the internet for conspiracy bu***hit you wouldn't be getting these calls.


this is a customer service line. Be thankful your talking to these people who have to basically Kiss your A** instead of speaking to a collection agency that ripps your a**hole like a German in an Auschwitz Prison.

I agree. They called this morning and I didn't answer because of the ungodly hour, however, my payment is late, and they are only reminding me. It is a legit number.

Actually, I used to work for them.

TD has a Customer Care deptartment that calls you whemn your 0-31 days late.

to help you avoid falling into Collections so you don't get calls from collection agencies like
Alliance one
Collectcore
Nordon
etc.

If you actually looked into it you would understand that.

scams aren't legal the peolpe calling  you wouldn't be sitting in an office calling you if they were illegal.
also, when they call do they say, Hey whats your credit card number? No. They say. I just want to confirm information we can pull off of 411.ca to confirm its you.

This is legit, usually a promotion from them, or collections. Called the main TD # to ask if it is a legit number, and yes it is.

I have been getting these calls at work, (i have been off on vacation and upon returning to work my call display shows this number has been calling 6x a day).  If indeed it is TD Bank, wouldn't they send a letter to you to advise to call if they can't get a hold of you?

I've also been getting phone calls, they say they are open from 8-am to 10am mon-thurs, 8-am to 5pm fridays, 8-am to 4pm saturdays.

It may be TD Canada Trust having a credit card in your name that is overdue, but I am waiting to confirm this.

I also have been getting calls from this number but they keep on hanging up, no one answers to talk to me, I have been getting them every morning about the same time, if it is TD Canada Trust we have already talked to someone so if it is a collection call they know they cannot talk to us again which would explain the hanging up

I've received a dozen calls from this number in the past couple days, saying my account is overdue, which it is.  The amount that was owed and the last payment date in which they told me were both incorrect, I briefly ended the call after this guy mentioned the date.

Have received calls from this Number (866-366-6138) for the past couple of weeks throughout the week... one (1) call in particular that I remember picking up (Answered) with the Caller identifying themselves as TD Canada Trust... one of my Banks/Personal Banking.   However, I (like previous comments from Others -Above)DID NOT TRUST THE CALLER when they proceeded to talk about an Amount Owing/VISA Credit Card Account which was "INCORRECT" (after checking my Online Banking Statement(s) and they DID NOT VALIDATE WHERE their call was originating FROM (Place) when I questioned WHY my Phone's Call Display DID NOT read: TD CANADA TRUST (Rightaway, the "Flags" go up)?
I told them that I will discuss the Payment Due (was/is Past Due as a result of a Medical Emergency in Family)with the Bank - in which I will contact the Bank directly.

There is so much Credit Card Fraud going on that I am very leary of these types of Phone Calls (Besides a Phishing/Fraud E-Mail re. TD CANADA TRUST that I received, coincidentally, at the same time as the Phone Calls started ringing in).

Are these Callers getting information off People's Credit Reports (I wonder)?

I get this call from TD bank about  no joke, 6 times a day, iv answered many times telling them ill go into the bank if i need to talk to somone, and iv told them to not call, iv gone into the bank and told them I would like them to stop calling, but nothing happens. Im getting so frusterated. I love being with TD but man there calling people is the worst out of any bank iv ever been with

We keep getting phone calls a couple of times a day. When we answer there is no one on the line. This is very annoying. Does anyone know what this is all about.

I've been getting calls from this number more than 6 times a day.  They have been calling every 45 minutes between the hours of 4pm and 8pm.  I spoke with someone from TD about a forgotten visa payment last week, and then made the payment a few days later.  I don't know if it just hasn't gone through yet (due to the long weekend) or if they've crossed wires with their collections department and have not taken me off their list, but this seems like harassment to me.  Seriously - 8 calls a day?

I keep gettting calls from this phone number, same story as everyone else, EVERY MORNING they call.  They won't give my parents any information, only to call them back at that number.  Tonight I talked to someone at TD VISA and he told me that this number is NOT from TD Visa, it is NOT EVEN FROM TD AT ALL--he even checked three times to make sure.

This number has been calling me incessantly over the last SEVERAL months - I used to answer it, and believe that they introduced themselves as TD Bank re: my VISA card. I always tell them its not a good time, and I will call them if I have time to discuss my account.

On average, this number calls my home 6-7 times EVERY day. Today, I answered it & told them there repeated calls (3x already by 11 a.m., on Saturday) was bordering on harassment; and instructed them not to call me anymore.
