Some sort of solicitation, even though I am on the government do-not-call-list. They also called from 703-518-6141 and from an unlisted number, all calls in one day.

Please send these parasites to prison already! Why are they allowed to keep disturbing millions of people with millions of calls at all times of day and night?

I have blocked that number on my phone.  That should end the calls.

yeah im sorry guys i used to work for this company, it really isnt scams its the real deal they get contracts with these organizations then we got to call for them, trust me was NOT a fun job it sucks especially when people just hang up on us cause we HAVE to call back, heres a tip...answer the phone, after they say who they are and where their calling on behalf of just say to be taken off the list and we are required to read the do not call question about being put on the list for this particular project or being taken off the list for this and future years say "this and future years" then youll be on a permanent DNC list. its simple, i got a lot of crap from people we called its really a stressful job and i didnt like the fact i had to torment peoples homes for a living.

How a bout making a petition to legislators to review this case? if we are in the DO NOT CALL LIST, which is a federal list, why do they pull us out of that list for their FOR PROFIT business (because the only non for profit here are the companies they represent) if we let them go this far, we are going to start each time more and more telemarketing companies changing their business partners and we will get bombarded with call again!

he said he was calling on behalf of the University of Houston Alumni association. I guess they're resorting to outside telemarketers because it used to be a university number.

This is the Medic Alert folks.  I am a member, but they were doing a fundraising for educating First Responders about Medic Alert.

I emailed martha_connor@directline-tech.com and told her to take me off her list. She informed me I made a donation to a non-profit because they do not buy lists. I informed her she was WRONG. She insisted SHE was right. She has been sending me all kinds of emails ever since saying they would never buy lists, that I am a member of a non-profit or they wouldn't have my number. I told her we wouldn't be having this conversation if her company would not have called in the first place. So now it is time to tell you this company is RIDICULOUS!!!!

Email martha_connor@directline-tech.com and tell her to take your number off. She will send you a list of how you could have done this and that instead. She will try to make you feel bad. Don't let her. Stand your ground. Keep the emails and report them. This is the most ridiculous bunch I have ever dealt with.

Another call from these people.....after they called on Feb. 21, I followed advice given, called them back and told them never to call me again. We see how much good THAT did. Is there no way to stop these idiots??

Call from this number at 3:30 p.m.----no message left. Took Kirk's advice....called the number he gave, got  someone live, told them  never to call again or I'll report it to the FCC. Guy said it would be done. We'll see...........

Call from this number came in; no other identifying information, and no message left. I've  been on the Do Not Call list since day 1, but it's useless.

We get a call from this number often.   They never leave a message.  
We do screen our calls so we know when the call comes in that it is
not someone we know trying to reach us.

Thank you.  Calling 703-637-9245 gets an automated system and allowed me to remove myself from their call list just by pressing 1 at the prompt.  Very easy.

This was MoneyTree calling as a "courtesy reminder" of a payment due.

I do not answer toll free calls.  They do not leave a message.

A male keeps calling my me 24/7. Very annoying. Finally, I decided to answer the phone. Finding out this person calling about donations for workshops affiliate with Medical Alert. I've emailed Medical Alert in regards to this...waiting for response.

I just returned their call and their recorded message states:

You have reached Direct Line Technologies, a professional fundraising firm that works for Colleges, Universities and Health Care Foundations nationwide.  Should you choose to answer the next call from this number, the caller will immediately identify the organization on who's behalf we are calling and ensure that it is a convenient time for the call.  Any of our employees will place you on the Do Not Call list if you simply state, "Please place me on the Do Not Call List".  If you wish to be placed on the Do Not Call list without knowing the identify of the organization on whose behalf we are calling and the number being called is xxx-xxx-xxxx simply press 1 now.

They call on a daily basis and we now pick up the phone & immediately hang up.

These people call me twice a day. I never answer and they never leave a message.
When i called them i told them to put me on the do not call list. They said they would check my phone number against their records to see if they were calling me (are you kidding me?). If they were calling me (again, huh?) they would remove my number from their records by 3am PST the following business day.

They typically call here at least once each day with no message.  Seeing the toll-free number, I let the answering machine handle it.  Today, they broke their record for frequent phone calls by calling us four times in 45 minutes.  High irritated, I picked up the fourth time to be informed that they were collecting for the USF alumni organization.  I demanded to be removed from their hit list.

I just called this number back after getting tons of calls from them.  They are a professional firm who calls for donations for colleges and health care groups.

Since it is a toll free number, I called them back after getting their call their no message call.  A mechanical voice answered and said they are Direct Line Technology and said they solicit donations for colleges and health organizations.  They offered to remove your number from number from their call list, but after 30 days.  One wonders what they will do with your phone number before 30 days.  Sell it to another buyer and spread it around?

866-390-6364 is for college fund solicitations.
