try to call this ###### people speak very little english   dell collection

I am tried of them calling me and asked that they did'nt for the fact I don't owe that company a dime!! They won't stop calling me and have used up my minutes on cell phone I'm not who they are looking for! I told them that over 20 times and the calls will not stop, I get over 10 calls a day in the past 10 days! I want to know if I can press charges on them for herrasment on my behalf plus to pay my cell phone bill since they have used up my minutes?

I received a bill at my address from Dell Financial Services in someone else's name, but my adddress.  I have never done business with Dell nor DFS.  I called them to report that they must have the wrong address for that customer and that they needed to try and contact the individual by phone to get the correct address.  They said they were sorry and would take care of it.  Two days later, we got a call from Dell Financial Services at my house asking for my landlord (the lady who owns the house).  I assume that they didn't have the right info, so they searched public records and found the phone number associated with the house (mine) and the name associated with the house (the landlord).  That is the only way they could have tied the 2 pieces of info together, as my landlord lives in Hawaii and we live in Virginia.  I told them they had the wrong number and to please take us off their list (which they assured me they would do).  Over the last week I have gotten 6-more calls from them.  When I called the number back (from caller ID), they immediately said "Alicia?".....the name of the lady on the bill we had received...I said no, and they hung up.  I called right back and this time they said "Beth?" ...the name of my landlord, and I said no and then read them the riot act.  I have reported them for violation of the do not call laws, although I am skeptical that will work.  I am just mad that I tried to do them a favor by pointing out that they had the wrong address for an account holder and now I am rewarded with harassing phone calls...and am treated like I am trying to scam them.  I will NEVER do business with Dell (never have, and now I never will).....

Been receiving calls from 866-395-5005.  They say they are Dell Financial but I doubt the validity.  They first asked for a person who did not exist at the number. I explained this.  I asked for them to stop calling.  They have not stopped.  I receive at least 5 calls a day.  I will not under any circmstances do business with Dell Ffinancial or anyone even midly associated with DFS or Dell.  With all the computer hardware options out there if this company is associated with Dell products this has tarnished their reputation.  I will look for other companies to satisfy my tech needs and only use dell as a last resot.

this company calls me like 15 times a day and when i try to call them back to ask them questions about my bill they hang up on me. if i tell them when i will be paying them they allow me a full conversation but if i throw a question out there they hang up. they're not getting any money until they answer my questions and thats it. they can call 100 times and they will get the same response from me... the dial tone!!!

Tired of getting calls from 866 395 5005.  I will return valid calls if a understandable message is left in english.

My daughter was receiving calls from this number on her cell (2- 4 times a day!!!) - when I called the number back as many have reported - I was hung up on numerous times - I was able to block the number with our wireless carrier for 3 months - to help put a stop - contact Dell Financial services (from their web page) - it is a pain to get through the menus - but you will finally speak to a person - get a case# and the employee# - they offer to help stop the calls - this was the first helpful person at Dell.

I am reporting this to the Attorney General as well....

These people keep calling my phone day and night.  Never leave messages.  This is crazy and I am sick and tired of the b.s!

Same here, had to add the # to my address book and then name it  "DELL COLLECTOR - dont answer", and then changed the ringtone to silence for that particular number. Its still annoying to see the miss calls, but not as annoying as it was before ;-)
