Call from a mike Murphy asking for my wife. Real rude and asked for my name too. Very rude and would not say who he was with. Thought he may have said msb. Heard telemarketers in the background. Caller Id shown number as unavailable.

Note that this "Jim Ignatowich" also has a telephone number (646) 722-7770. He uses the same ploy - that he HAS to speak with the attorney and that it is a "Personal Matter". He becomes bellicose when confronted, almost to the point of being threatening. Something is really wrong with this dude.

Our friends Andy Perry and Paul Camarari both call my boss all the time. Of course, they are best friends with him. The tip off is that they ask for "Richard" and no one calls him that. I had a few minutes, so I called back the number and asked for Andy, and whomever answered said "who's calling," so I said, "it's personal," and the guy paused, and he said "can I take a message," and I said, "yes, tell him that his best friend said to take my boss's number off your contact list," and the guy hung up on me! It was fun. I wonder what these guys say if they ever get through?

Ray Jones called from (866) 403-2078, saying he is from Eastbrook. Asked for the boss by name. We did not return the call. I understand we all need to make a living, but is telemarketing really necessary?

Some yahoo named Greg Jones called from 866-403-2078 and left a brief message to call back at that number. Sounded real friendly, but obviously is a sleaziod who has never come by anything in his life honestly. If you can't be proud of what you are doing and present yourself in a forthright manner, you are obviously a crook or a criminal. Plently of craigslist hits on reverse goole search, several funny ones about a pissed intern spitting in coffee. Sounds like Greg Jones and his ilk need to go get a real job shoveling horse turds somewhere in the frozen tundra. Might do them a bit of good to come by a paycheck honestly.

This call came from a guy named Greg Jones. No different than any other message (same calling my boss by a nickname he doesn't use and acting like he knows him). Just the name of the caller is different.

Received voice message on our main business number from a Joe Marsden looking for, I assume, our Chairman, as he said "Hi Mike - It's Joe Marsden, please call me back at 866-403-2078". Since our Chairman does not normally go by Mike, I googled the number ...

Received a voice mail on 3/10/08 with a real friendly familiar voice stating it was Jim Modor asking me to call him back at this number. Never heard of the guy. It is beyond annoying.

Received call from an "Andy Perry" at this number. Said my boss "would know what the call was regarding." Not the case. Formerly had a call from this same number several months ago(kept the post-it) from Jim Ignatowich (who had the same story).

Got a call from Will Jiggettes who asked for a lawyer by his first name and when I asked for his last name, he gave it. When he asked for the lawyer's voice mail, I said he did not have one and I would take a message. He asked for the lawyer to call him back and hung up.

Got a voicemail from Mike Murphy - friendly voice. "Call me at the office - that number again is 866-403-2078."

March 13, 2008, 11:22 A.M. Will Jiggets is a very busy man as I also received a call from good old Will asking for my boss' voice mail (I'm it). When I answered he asked for "Dennis" (not my boss' name), claimed he inadvertently called my boss the wrong name because he was looking at his assistant whose name was Dennis and he left a call back for 1-866-403-2078. I googled the number and came up with this site which I find to be very helpful too.
Thanks guys.

I received a call from Will Jiggetts who, when I asked him what it was regarding, claimed it was a personal call and my boss would know who he is.. I put him on hold and my boss did not know him. I took a message and as soon as he said 1-866..I knew he was lying. Googled the number, the infamous 1-866-403-2078, and found this helpful site. I also found a music entertainment website that popped up under this number. Swindle Entertainment, I think.

Got a short voice mail message this AM (Feb. 11, 2008) from a "Jim Walter" at (866) 403-2078. Checked my Oulook contacts and found a guy by the name of "Sean Estridge" had called from the same number on January 20, 2003 and it turned out to be a broker from First Republic doing cold calls.

On my voice mail this morning, in a friendly tone of voice, as if he knows me: "Hi, Al, it's Mike Murphy. Call me at the office, 866-403-2078." I don't know a Mike Murphy. I Googled the phone number and realized "Mike Murphy" is no friend of mine.

Mr. Camarary loves to call my boss; apparently he doesn't use a check-off list. He always indicates it is a personal call and that my boss knows who he is. My first tip-off is he always asks for "Johnny" (my boss is not "Johnny", no friend or family has ever or would call him "Johnny"). I have had so many calls from him with the usual run-around, the last time he called I decided I would play his game for a while. We went through the game of "twenty questions" and then I told him to stop playing games, stop wasting my time and his time, and I hung up. Today Jim Walter called, asked for my boss or his voice mail; I said no voice mail; he gave me his number (the infamous 866-403-2078) and said he was a friend. I told him he was not and hung up.
