I recieved a call for Ben Chow and was told that I filled out an entry form to win a suv.  I must admit that at first I was a bit skeptical, however I went down there anyway and to my surprise I actually won flat screen television. This more than what I expected.

This is obviously a fraud. I, along with some others that I know, received the same phone call from Ben Chow saying that we we're the "lucky" winners of a sweepsstakes that we never entered. Don't fall for it. The caller ID# was actually 574-234-2926. The number he said to call was 866-414-2024.

I got the same call from Ben Chow and was also told that I filled out an entry form to win an SUV, which I most certainly didn't. I then called them back, and they answered the phone as "Sweepstakes Promotions". I spoke with a man who claimed they were based in Columbia, MD. Upon asking them to please remove my name from their list and not to call back, the man responded "There is no list". Very helpful. I reported them to the FTC for violating the do-not-call list.

Received a call tonight from Ben Chow.   Evidently this fellow has a lot of Ford Explorers and other vehicles to give away.  Based on other comments, I won't be returning the call.  In a real sweepstakes, you don't have to go anywhere to pick uop the gift.  They send it to you AFTER filling out appropriate affidavits.  Will also be reporting this as a violation of the no-call list laws.

I received a phone call today from Ben Chow as well.  I had won also a Ford Explorer or Lincoln something SUV.  Given the fact that I am not a permanent resident or a U.S. citizen, I know for a fact that I am not elegible to win most of the sweepstakes (as written in the fine prints in most rules and regulations) so I never enter any of them. Clearly a big fat fraud.  I would not have thought of reporting this person as a violation.  Thanks for the tip!

Same call as all the rest.  If I'd won a sweepstakes, I'd imagine a real caller would have been on the line and there'd be no reason to record a flawed message telling me to call them back.  Imean seriously, a sweepstakes giving away cars doesn't have hundreds or thousands of finalists to call.

I also received a message to call this number back. It was actually my second call from him. I was never able to get through to them. I agree it is a big fraud. On another site 2 people said they won prizes, I don't believe that for a minute.

I had a voicemail from the same guy Ben Chow stating that I filled out an entry (which I didnt) and won either a Ford Explorer or Lincoln Navigator (which would you choose, $$$). He wanted me to call back an 866 # to claim my prize.

First, I never filled out an entry. Second, I would never use my home phone # in conjuction with my home address. Why give thieves the upper hand of calling from outside my door to see if Im home before robbing me blind.

I recieved the same call last week from Ben Chow and returned the call to find out more.  It sounded too contrived to be a real sweepstakes, but the only personal information they asked for was my marital status (as if this would matter in a real sweepstakes).  The girl who I spoke to did not try to get me to set up any kind of appointment, but she did give me a "claim #" and told me to hold on to it as I would need it if I was selected as the Grand Prize winner of the Lincoln Navigator... don't think I will hold my breath.

I received a message on my answering machine. I called and was told that Ben Chow was sick and out of the office and to call back in a few days. Just out of curiosity, I called back, and no answer.

This guy must be making the rounds--I too got a call from a Ben Chow with the same info others have listed.  I don't fill out sweepstakes forms.  Thanks for the heads up all!  (oh on another post, they said they pick up stuff--not sure if that site was as phoney as this.)

Obviously a fraud - some kind of phishing - or just to get lists of live names / phone numbers.  Never entered any sweepstakes. Note that "Ben Chow' who has a bad NY/NJ accent - says you've been selected as a finalist.  He doesn't say you actually won anything.  SCAM.  Did not call- advise others not to as well.
Interseting - I think the caller ID may be faked somehow too.  Different people getting different numbers.  I did a look up on the number on my caller ID and it gave me two different people at two different addresses.

I received a call from a person named Bed Chow at 866-414-2024 ext zero.  I called it and a person named Mia who said her direct number was ph 877-287-7637, mentioned that if I attended a half hour presentation I would be guaranteed to win one of the following prizes:
2009 Lincoln Navigator or a Ford Explorer
$2500
vacation for two (to someplace - I didn't write it down)
32 in TV

Mia claimed to be an employee of 'Sweepstakes Promotions', who was calling on behalf of their client called 'United Networks' who she said was openning a new store near me and was holding this promotion

She asked me to set-up an appt for this presentation located at the following address:
1935 Schemer rd, Suite 100
Northbrook, IL

I told her I was not interested and hung up the phone.

Got the same message as everyone else on my machine yesterday from Ben Chow. Poor guy just can't seem to give away that SUV. I NEVER fill out entry forms so I know its bogus. I urge everyone on the do-not-call list to report these people.  This call originated in South Bend, IN. but my Google search shows the same thing is going on in the Chicago area, etc.
