Happened to me too. Called and asked for someone else. When I said "you have the wrong number", they asked "Do you know her?" like NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS THIS ISN'T HER NUMBER even if I did know her... which I'm pretty sure I don't. Annoying. -_-

NOTE TO TELEMARKETERS AND PHONE SCAMMERS:
I do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize, with no caller id info, etc.

I assume that any one of these unknown numbers/callers will leave a message if they are legitimate, and if they do not, I look up their phone number on these types of websites.  If they are on one of these sites I promptly  block them (my phone will do this -- Panasonic model).

If they are not on a site, I give them one or two more opportunities to leave a message and then I block them.

This is a horrible invasion of my privacy and my family's privacy, as well as an economic burden, since my husband and I both use our home phones as well as business phones for business and therefore could possibly lose business in our efforts to evade people who are using the phones WE PAY FOR to scam and bother us!!!!

This telephone number calls me at 8 am e.s.t and 8pm e.s.t- At points they call 5 times on Sundays.

Received a call from this number last night at home (home number is listed under my boyfirends name as it is his house) they asked for my ex husband - I told them they had the wrong number - I have been divorced for 7 years and have no idea where he even is I am calling them back to give them my ex's dad's name and number they can call him. this is bull

Credit card companies in my husband's first wife's name have been calling my house asking for her. Our names are fairly similar, and, of course, the last name is the same. These are not cards that my husband owned jointly - those were all closed during their divorce. However, we have been married nearly 15 years and live in Texas. She lives in Indiana. Apparently, they must google or some other search to find home phone numbers. I think it is collections based on how they treat me until they find out I'm not who they are looking for and all of the pertinent information they have (SS, birth date).

I'm have been getting phone calls from some moron who cannot speak English I finally figure out he said PayPal something about a bill is not paid. I checked my PayPal account and it shows set my balance is zero I paid PayPal at the same time that I purchase  I towed this moron for our five times to stop calling me that I did not owe PayPal's.

If this is a collection agency stay need to get someone who can speak English after talking to someone in the USA

I received almost 20 calls in the past week from this number, on my work number! When I answer, there is just silence and then hang up. Caller gave no response. I called the number back, kept pressing zero until i got someone on the line. Turns out they are a credit card service agency and the guy asked for my last four digits of ssn - which i did not give, but based on the phone number i gave that they were calling, he pulled up my name. I refused to identify myself so he did tell me it was in reference to Walmart....which i do have a walmart discover card, that is currently past due, but i still did not give him my info. i simply said i was going to make a payment and that he needed to tell someone at the call center that these calls are just hang ups. I also mentioned that I am not the only person this is happening to, there are hundreds of people complaining about this "mysterious" number where the caller just hangs up when the phone is answered. I told him that I dont know who he needs to tell, but it is a form of harrassment and that someone there needs to be made aware of the problem...so I hope this helps. If you call the number back, they will ask for a credit card number. Just keep pressing zero and someone will come on the line....

Keep getting a call from this number. Really annoying.

Calls back to back all day every day even on Saturday and Sunday, morning, noon and night. Very rude, calls and hangs up... very irritating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never answer, but I get at least three calls a day from this number. Morning, day, night...that's why I keep my phone on vibrate most of the time. I hate telemarketers so I don't even bother. They can keep calling all they want they won't ever get a hold of me! Lol, kinda got used to ignoring calls everyday.

I recieved a call today from a lady stating she was calling about a past due bill at GE Captial /Dillard's .She want my credit card number to catch up payments in the amount of $77.00 I told her, no way I donot owe this payment.Then she ask about my email address at this point I was getting a little upset so I  end this call.

Calls all hours, even Saturdays. Leaves no message. My husband answered on Friday night and asked caller to stop calling, response,  "thats not gonna happen".  Once stated, "it's a personal matter".  They NEVER leave a message.

Rec'd call - no message left did not pick up as I did not recognize this number.  Know it came from somewhere in Memphis, TN -

I keep receiving a call on my cell phone with this number on my caller ID.  I refuse to answer the call as do not recognize this number.
