Correction to my earlier post:  the new toll free # I'm being asked to call is: 888-284-8918, ext. 124

I've been getting voice mails telling me to call this number (ext. 124) on my cell for 6 months from 312-789-5686!  Always a recording from "Melvin" at the "Notification Center" telling me I entered to win a car (I NEVER give out my cell # to people I don't know and I don't enter contsests).  Saying they're aware of the do not call list (I am on it and have reported at least 5 of their calls), that it's in my best interest to call back and that he has called multiple times and this is his last attempt (promises, promises!).

When I've tried to answer the calls there is no one there.  I called back the number "Melvin" left about 3 months ago and reached a woman who said she would put me on their do not call list.  I still got calls from them.  Now this week I'm getting the same voice message from "Melvin" from a different #:708-248-7796, asking me to call him at a new #: 708-248-7796, ext. 124.  I called from my home phone, dialing *67 first to block my name and number from appearing on their end.  I reached a woman who said "Let me get my do not call list so I can add you" (really? a hard copy list, not in their computer?).  She then said she would add my # to her list and she read me my HOME phone # that I had tried to block AND my husband's name to their do not call list.  I said that's fine, but I also want my cell # on the list so they stop the calls the've been making to it.  She said OK and again gave my husband's name as the owner of the cell #.  Soooo, what kind of equipment do they have that can get caller ID from blocked calls?

I also got a call from MELVIN today.  Same line as everyone else on here. I love your intent on drinking and smoking and calling him back all hours with your friends. Priceless, thanks for the good laugh :)

I also received a call from these guys recently about filling out something to receive a car. I listened to all the information and discussed it with my boyfriend. We decided to go and check it out. We had a good time. I believe in coming to my own conclusions instead of listening to other people's views.

Recieved a call 3 days ago.  I actually recieved a TV from the company they where contacting me on behalf of.  I will be gioing to Best Buy in the morning to pick it up.  I was asked to leave a comment if I actually got something.  Thanks

Just ask them to remove your number and they will not call back

SAYS THERE FROM NOTAFICATION  CENTER BUT DONT KNOW WHY THEY CALLED THEY WILL CALL BACK...........

I recieved a call from 1-866-430-3180 ex 2124. I was unable to find the number in the WhitePages or YellowPages on line however the number was listed as a scam number on "Spokeo" It is likely that the call is a attempt at ID thief. Do not reply to this or anyother invalid telephone number it might cost you all these criminal could get using your name and credit. These people should be caught and deported to the Anartic.

If you notify the FTC, they can pursue the violation of the no call list and fine them for each call. You may even be eligible for some damages $.

Have you all reported them to the FTC? If you're on the "national no call list", they may be fined for each time they called you. I'm not sure but I think the FTC will investigate whether you're on no call or not. www.ftc.gov

Melvin called  me too. I called back from another phone number so they would not callID me as their intended victim and ended up getting sent to a voice mail. I think I might spend the weekend coercing friends to call this scammer and waste a lot of his time while we drink beer and get stoned. I wish I knew how to set up a war dialer to waste his 866 toll free $

some guy named melvin says I won a car that I entered in a drawing for some months back, said it wasnt a telemarket call, blah blah.... saved the voice mail.

I rec'd a call from this number stating I had won a car.  It was Melvin from a notification center. Calling from 866-430-3180 x 124.  He said he was not a telemarketer and it was not a cold call.  I will not be calling him.  Sounds very 'phishy' to me.  And to think I am on the 'do not call' list.  Makes me go hmmm.

I received the same "I won a car" call, but the callers name was Dennis the number he gave to call back was 866-430-3180 and the extension was 121.  Dennis said he was from the "Notification center".  The Caller ID number listed Omni Consumer T??? and 772-907-9224.  Possibly a phishing scam.
