Just got this number days ago; called, said nothing, then hung-up but sounds as if someone is on other end.

directTv calling in reference to install. they will still call even after they have talked to you.

I'm tired of receiving calls from this phone number......how do I get them to stop?!?!?!?

It's Directv.  I switched away from them about a year ago, and they won't let up!  I've even spoken with people from the company telling them I'm happy with my current service, yet they won't let up!

Yeah, it's DirecTV.  They are pretty relentless.  Fortunately, my VoIP service allows me to forward specific numbers to voicemail or even a "stop calling" message, so they just got added to that list.

We're getting irate messages on our home phone from in-state folks trying to turn off the repeated and annoying DirecTV calls. They don't realize they have to include the 1- prefix, so instead of reaching the toll free 866- exchange, they end up calling our in-state number, which also starts with 866-. I've had three angry messages in the last week protesting the harassment from DirecTV (only they don't seem to know who is calling them). Great PR work on this company's part!

Will never use Direct TV again.
