Legit paypal. I missed my January payment. I didn't answer the phone, but came here and when I saw that it could be PayPal, I went online and noticed that I hadn't paid this month. Fixed that.

This is a total scam. I called back and right off the bat they want my SSN... no i dont think so. Then they ask for my account number, again absolutely not. I said i can give you the phone number you keep harassing me with by calling, so i give them that the response "no account under this phone number is coming up, whats ur social" NO WAY then she hangs up. Obnoxious and phony its about some scam credit card. I'm calling verizon and having this blocked!!!
DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION AND YOU'LL REALIZE HOW QUICKLY THEY GIVE UP AND HANG UP!!!!!!

I have been getting calls from this number when I called the automated answering said it was Paypal. Checked my account online, no reason for them to be calling me, certainly not on a Sunday morning. I worked in the telecommunications industry for a while and know that a technician can program the phone system to send out any digits they program to display as the Caller ID. This may be an actual number at Paypay but, that is just a very smart part of the SCAM. They are sending out the digits for a real number in case you call it to check. Then the next time they call, you will answer because you think they are really calling from PayPal. DON'T BE FOOLED. THIS IS NOT A CALL FROM PAYPAL.
Go check your Paypal account or call the Paypay number on the Paypal website. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY ACCOUNT INFORMATION.

Yeah - it is legit .. it's PayPal+ and it is a collection call.  Very very persistant - but I do owe PayPal+ credit card

The phone number 866-437-2914 keeps call me 4 to 10 times a day.  Have told them to quit calling but they still call.

Is it not illegal to call past 9pm?  Just got a  call at 10:38p. No message and no idea who it's from as I have never had a pay pal acct and I am pretty sure that my number is not recycled...any ideas?

Anytime any annoying bill collector is hounding you every day with calls you on your cellphone, this is what you do---save the number in your phone, then go to your voice record/voice notes and record about 30 seconds of silence. Then save that silent voice notes in your phone. Then assign that silent voice note as the ring tone for the bill collector number you saved. This way, whenever they call, your phone won't even ring. Well...it will be ringing, but you won't hear anything. If the same collector is calling from several different numbers, just save each number they call from and instead of clicking on 'create new contact' for each number, instead click 'add to contact' and attach the additional number to the first one. SO...anytime they call you from a number that you have already saved in your phone, the ring tone for the idiot is total silence. Try it, it works !

This number has been calling me for a week at ALL hours - just called at 9am sharp on a Saturday. If it is a legit Pay Pal collection number, noone was on the line to talk this morning! Is there a way to block calls from certain harrassing numbers???

They called and left a VM asking for someone who may have had my cell number before me, saying they represented CitiBank.  The voice was obviously Indian.  She left a number and asked that I call back.  No way!

It's legit...GE Moneybank/Paypal Plus.

Get this call on my home phone and now on my cell.  I am not behind on payments for any of my accounts.  If they are legitimate, why don't they leave a VM at some point?

someone at 866-437-2914 calls me all the time

received about 15 calls from 866-437-2914  one time when i was asleep, i told whoever that they woke me from a sound sleep and they hung up. I would like to know who is calling and why.  It's getting annoying.

Every weekend at about 8:30 a.m. I get a call from a woman (different ones) claiming that I owe GE Money Bank an outstanding sum on my Pal Pal account.  I never had a PayPal account with GE, and I called Pay Pal and they said my account was clear.  I had also received an email from this "GE Money Bank," and Pay Pal said to delete that email and get if off my computer for good.

I would like to know how or where to complain so that these harrassing phone calls stop. I suspect these people are operating some kind of scam.

This is a legitmate phone number.  I was called by them due to a delinquent payment on a GE Moneybank Paypal Plus card.

I got a VM from this number and googled to here. This time they claimed to represent GE Paypal Plus Mastercard.
