asking fro robin and saying it was in reference to a complaint??

They just called our business looking for an employee and told HR that he would be legally served if he did not call them back at 866-441-6224 within 3 hours.  Too bad he won't be calling.  We require faxes signed by our employees to release any information.

What scam artists!

I kept getting calls to call 866-441-6224, then they called my job. Then today I get served with these papers to go to court, what do I do? Should I get a Lawyer, I have never been sued before is there anything i can do not to go to court. Can I go to jail?

i once worked for the "asset management" company.we were told to lie and do whatever it takes to scare people to pay money that they might owe.  a sheriff will not serve you papers. that is just a threat we were told to say .it worked though . but im glad i dont work for those  S**t heads anymore.

Well I too received a call from them and was soooo scared.....I asked them to give me all info on ???credit card I owed..I did my research and they were right it was mine and i let it go ..i know they won't/can't arrest me but it was legit and it was mine! Don't do anything until you do your research and it was my original debt and it needed to get paid.

this is a bogus scam. the scam artists want you to believe that  they really serve papers and arrest people. It is illegal to arrest someone for outstanding debt . Debt jails were abolished long ago in the 1800 s .just google it .It is also against the law for them to  garnish your wages. just ignore them or change your number .and be sure not to use your phone number to call them back. there is no way to block your number from 800 call centers. otherwise they will have your number and harass you. dont let the weak scare tactics and fake post from stacy love fool you.

You say that this is fraud, when I called back and they gave me a website to look at my credit report. I had relatively small debt but it was sure on my credit report from just before I moved and never got the bill. I was in the process of trying to by a car and got a better intrest rate because it was settled.. Thanks Ms. Miller..

ok please help,i recieved a call a month ago from these guys about me being sued. i read up on this site and found they were a scam and just ignored it. As im leaving to lunch from work a gentlemen shows up and serves me papers come to find out it was the same a**holes.i dont know what to do now cause i thought it was a scam,someone please help me on the steps i should take to solve this issue! please email me with any help,thx

I arranged to make payments to these people. Next thing i know they wanted to go from 200 a month to over 600 a month. When I told them that i couldn't afford that they said "well we already have your account number and are gonna take it anyway". I had to close our account beofer they starved us to death. When I told them to take the 200 and split it they couldn't so the way i see it they refused my payment.

My wife received a call from a Mr. Wright claiming that we owed $1500.00 on a master card. He went on to say that he was with "Asset Management" and that they would only accept a minimum of $600.00 now and the balance within a month. Mr. Wright said that if we could not make the payment they would send a sheriff to my house or business, and serve me with a supoena to go to court. We don,t have a master card account and these people have not called back nor have we seen a sheriff at our door step. This, obviously, is a "scam" and the public needs to be made aware. If you are contacted by Asset Mangement, do not give them any of your personal information and call your police department.

i recieve a message from this company i called back and they stated i owed 3k from a credit card,i told them they were crazy and to supply me with proof,well sure enough about a week later i recieve a letter from them with all documents relaying to the account they were calling on,i then verified it with the original bank and they stated yes asset manage was handling it so i called back worked out arrangments and got them out of my hair!just recently pulled my credit and they did update it as paid in full! THANK GOD!

They called my girlfriend and tricked her into giving them her bank account number. They said they were going to take out a warrant for her arrest, which scared her. The guy's name was Mr. Wright.

I received the same call from Mike Jones. I called the number back and the recording says Asset Managment and says I can leave my SSN, yeah right. I then contacted my local Sheriff, FBI and AG office as well as my lawyer. My lawyer will be serving them with papers.

I hadn't payed my credit card company in a couple of years. This company worked with me and gave me a payment arrangement. I payed all the payments and they reported it as payed. It was one of the last I needed to pay and it was hard to find who had it because I had moved a couple of times and all the debt selling going on these days. They even sent me a paid letter now I don't have to feel that I scammed the bank out of their money anymore.

a woman named Tori called me saying shes from the counties processing service division that ive been summoned and they gave me a case number and said they need my address or place of business. this is a scam trying to scare people. and it almost worked on me. always check thes places out before giving them any personal info! I hope this helps someone

Asset Management Company - Chris called me saying they are suing us for a credit card debt that we owed. Scam!

So what is the scam. They called me about a fictitious debt.

It is a debt collection agency that collects for seriously past due credit card debt. The previous comment from "Brian" is an employee with them. They are extrememly nasty and use all sorts of illegal tactics to get you to pay them.

They called me today...a guy supposedly named Anthony Garcia spoke with deep accent....thanks to the internet for this kind of info...

Said that they will serve my husband with a summon but does not want to give us the nature of the law suit...

I got served by them and now %25 of my wages are being garnished!....At least its getting paid back ...I want get my CREDIT back on track...I hope they dont get anyone else!!

i think brians comment is being used as a scare tactic from amc.if brian got garnished to would of told us who the law firm was that took him to court

i got a call from those people, saying that i owe 1800.00 plus 1100 court fee, they asked me if i will be home tommorow between 9-4pm. First of all, they have a wrong person, diffrent age, but same name as mine. What can we do to stop that.???

I was called, and given the same line, they were looking for my brother who's never lived with me.  I called him, and he called the number back and said he had a $7000 judgement.  I followed up with the local police, the Sherriff for my county, the attorney general and the FBI.  Sounds like it's a scam.

he said his name was michael jones and he had a compaint. for what, I don't know. i never called.

My friend got a call from these bastards. She nearly took a loan to send them money. I told her it had "SCAM" written all over it. We were told to call 951-808-6333 and ask for Mr. Wright. I say we post every number these idiots say to call on this site and make some crank calls of our own....pretend to be from the Attorney General's Office!

we all know a legit debt collection company knows YOU CANT BE ARRESSTED FOR A CIVIL MATTER they want your info so they can take all your money from your bank account dont pay them and dont give them any info
