same call - kids were excited...I called back and "interviewed" them.  Always fun to turn the tables on these scumbags...I too was suspicious when they mentioned Escalade...who wants one of those god-awful gas guzzlers?

At today's gas prices you would have give me the car and pay a monthly allowance to drive and Explorer or an Escalade.

A hybrid might have been a better sell in today's market, Chris

I got the same message left on my machine last Friday.  The person said his name was Sam Key, and it was imperitive that I call him back.  I have won a car before from a sweepstakes, and trust me, they do not leave such strange incomplete messages with no mention of the winner's name or name of the prize provider.  Dumb a**es don't realize we can google their scams if there are any doubts.

Got a call left on my answering machine from Chris Kuba. Same story same number to call as many others. I didn't call. I searched the number on Google and found this page.  Thank you all for adding your comments to this page!  It was very helpful.  I too had a child to ask if I had heard the message, and wanted us to call to win our Escalade/Explorer.  The thing is she came to ask me as I was looking the number up on google. I told her it was some type of gimmic/scam for you to call so they can try to sell you stuff. I showed her all of the responses, and she wanted to know how are they allowed to do this.  Which is a GREAT questions!  How can they? Michael and son.....I wish we could call the police and they do something about this nonsense! I agree on the gas statement, how can you afford the gas.

Got the call today from Chris Kuba.

They should update their prize.  No way that I want an Escalade with $4 gas out there.

I actually LOL'd when I heard the message on the machine today.

Got a call left on my answering machine from Chris Kuba.  Same old story as above.  I didn't call.  I searched his name on Google and found this page.  Thank goodness!  My son wanted me to call so we could get our "free" Explorer or Escalade.  Once I told him of the scam, he wanted to call the police.  If only it was that easy!!

Received a voicemail to call Chris Kuba at the Prize Claim Center at 866-450-3335 ext. 5702.  They called from 404-460-5170 but the name said Unavailable.  Sounded like a scam, so I searched the Internet first. I am glad I found this site before I returned the call.

I had a message on my answering machine from a Chris Kupa (?) stating this was my final notification of prize winnings, would I please call him back at 866-450-3335 ext 5702.  I called back and at that extension got a man named Waymon who told me he was Chris's supervisor and Chris was on break.  He told me I was a finalist for one of four prizes: a 2008 Lincoln Navigator, $25000, a vacation or a HD 27" TV.  He wanted to know if my spouse and I were made at least $45 000 a year so that they knew we could cover the taxes on the Navigator.  We were told we would have to attend a meeting Wed 7 pm 4/30/08, bring two forms of id, the first of which could a drivers license or state ID, the second could be a passport or credit card.  Waymon gave me his ext as 5021

???????  I thought it was funny that he said our "final notice" because we'd certainly had no phone calls up until that point.  When I asked what contest I entered and where he said their company had put out boxes in Feb 2007 around the Asheville Area, but that he couldn't be sure which one I'd entered.  (I do occasionally enter contests in the mall, etc).

I called back today to get more info on what company he's with an when I called the 866 450 3335 number it took me straight into Waymon's voice mail but it was a woman's voice.

Waymon gave me an address and directions for tonight's meeting:
600 Alliance Ct Suite 200.
Directions, off I-26, towards mall, L @ 3rd light between hotel and Ryans, then L onto Richfield Ct, then R @ traffic circle onto Alliance Ct, they're the free standing building on the top of the hill on the left with a green roof.

This is freaky.  I'm glad I found this page!  If anyone goes to the meeting I'd love to hear how it goes down! I'm not going!

Chris Kuba called and left a message that I am a finalist for a Ford Explorer or a Cadillac Escalade.  He said I needed to call 866-450-3335 ext 5702 to talk to him about it. I decided to Google the number before responding and came across this page with everyone saying they received similar or the same phone message.  I don't have caller ID on my phone so I couldn't find out where it really came from.  I wasn't sure if 866 was actually a toll free number either.  I could've been calling anywhere in the world and gotten charged for it.
Thanks to this page I won't check into this further.

Chris Kruber is how I heard it. I have won an SUV! NOT. I called and got his "assistant" she said she was representing STAR VACATIONS in Marrietta, Georgia.. I was googling the number at the time and sure enough, here it was. So I told her thanks, but no thanks. Also, they are just plain rude. Number on caller id was 404-460-5171

Was outside when call came, message on answering machine same as above. Wouldn't have another Ford if it was given to me.  Got suspicious when Kris Kuba did not mention my name as a winner in his bogus contest, nor was I certain that 866 is a toll free number. Did a search on Google with the phone # and bingo- here is the page with the truth! Thanks google.

Chris Kuba called me, too, and guess what?  I'm a winner, too!  Suprise!  I called back to find out what the scam was, and a female answered saying she was Chris Kuba's supervisor.  She, like the message, insisted I was being called because I filled out an entry form, which I didn't.  I asked her what company she works for and she said it is the "Prize Claim Center" which is a part of some multimillion dollar company named "Star" (yeah, right).  She said  I was a guaranteed winner of one of the following four prizes: a Lincoln Navigator, $2,500, a Florida or Bahamas vacation, or a high def TV.  She said I'd have to be present to attend, and I said where, and she said she had to give me a claim number first.  I didn't get any further with her because I pointed out to her that the "guaranteed winner of one of these prizes" scheme is a well known scam, as if she didn't know, and she eventually got tired of wasting her time with me and hung up.

I esearched this further online and found out that you would have to attend a 90 minute presentation about their company and bring a driver's license AND a major credit card.  Sorry, Charlie, I'm not biting.

Call came in from 404 460 5171. Guy with a real irritating voice who identified himself as Chris Kuba said I was a finalist in a drawing for a Ford Explorer or a Excalade. He said I needed to call 866 450 3335 x 5702.
He said it was "imperative" he speak with me.
This individual has absolutely no professional tone in the way he communicated.
No wonder this looser has to sit in a basement making cold calls for a living, he probably isn't smart enough to do anything else.
