I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone which is listed on a Do Not Call list.  They left a 2 second voice mail which was dead air today.

They called me on my cell phone as well today, though they didn't leave a message.

They called on my landline.

They called looking for someone I have not seen in 5 years and left a phone number and reference number. So I called them back and asked how they got my number, and if this person had also falsely used my address, and they hung up on me.  I feel if someone is wrongly using my personal information I have the right to know, and ask!

A collection agency

I keep getting a call from this number and a computer voice asks if I am this person. After reversing the number no listing is available so I am not available.

They called me in 9/07 out of the blue about some credit card I didn't know anything about! They kept calling for 4 solid months. It escalated to threatening and violent conduct over the phone.  I was getting calls 15x times a day. When I told them to stop calling and acting mental, they continued to call. I filed a complaint against them, but they kept calling.  I finally had to file a police report for terroristic threats, and telephone harassment.  I later had a chat with the detective who actually knocked on their business door, and later told me that it was a ghetto collection agency, because she said and I quote, "we tow away there cars all the time for non-payment!"

This number called my cell phone.  Since I didn't recognize the number, I let it go to voicemail. They left a message that they were someone from a collection agency.

I found the correct address and further info on this immoral, illegal, unethical and unprofessional collection agency. This following information may be very useful to many now and many to come...these people need to learn their lesson on how to treat civilized people who indeed have a life. Do not, I say again, do not give them any checks or credit cards as the collectors there will use them and do fraud. Check for yourself. They have already had incidents on many employees who took the information over the phone and pay their own bills with. This is ridiculous! They had an office in Ohio which they had to shut down. Also another in Boston, Mass. Oh! Let me advise you to. The owner is now driving a bentley and guess where that came from? HEY GUYS... I THINK THE MSG THEY ARE LEAVING IS ILLEGAL AND I HAVE MY ATTY WORKING ON IT... EMAIL IF THEY LEFT YOU A RECORDED MSG THAT DISCLOSED THEY WERE A COLLECTION AGENCY AND GAVE THE MINI MIRANDA...BRANDALYNNE13@YAHOO.COM.  THIS COULD BE A LARGE LAWSUIT.

They left a message and asked if I was _____"long pause"_____.  Then said if I was not this person, please disregard.  But they keep calling my business line.  When I am out of my office, it is forwarded to my cell phone.  It is so annoying.

Keep leaving messages that are clearly computer generated, they don't even wait for my voice mail to begin so I only get the final part of their message. I have been ignoring for about one month, but it looks like I need to take action.

Here is the letter I will be sending ERC, it is in the wording of the FTC BoCP agency and it should work for those that do not owe the debit they are trying to collect.  If you owe the debit it is best to pay it and get on with your life.  But remember that they have to send you the debit in writing before you have to pay it.  You can send them a letter that you can only be called on what ever day of the week you want, but if you owe the debit they have the right to call, but only after they send you the debit in writing.  I hope this helps those that are getting calls needlessly.

RE: Stop calling my home

Sirs,
I am writing you to inform you that you will stop calling my home and you will not communicate we me in any way.  This letter is being sent to you because you have called my home three to four times in the last few days.  I do not owe anyone a debt that is in collection and you have no right to call or write to me.  My phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX and you will take it out of your data base. I will give you ten days from the date on this letter before I file legal action with the Federal Trade Commission Bureau of Consumer Protection and the Attorney General of Your State.

Just a note here; you have not sent a written notice showing that the debit you are trying to collect is legally owed.  The FTC BoCP has told me that if you do not put the debit in writing it is not to be paid and if calls continue after this letter than I can file legal action resulting in a thousand dollar judgment in my favor.

I recieved a call from them. They stated that they were attempting to collect 1383 dollars from a chase/circuit city card. I advised them was fraudulant and original card issuer chase had confirmed. I provided them with the chase fraud rep contact info and police dept number and police report number.  They aagreed to remove, then 2 days later i reran credit and they took themselves off and sold the debt to pinnacle credit services. I haved advised pinnacle and got the response from pinnacle , we don't care, then sent them to speak with my attorney.

Called again this morning at 8:20 AM. It was promptly "greeted" by my Interceptor ID. www.interceptorid.com
