They called me 3 times today...this is damn annoying.

Its the same with me except I call the number back and I get that the number is not in service and no longer active.  ????  Not sure if this is a scam, a serious thing, or just a prank.  Wish someone had more info than just saying it happened to them and it is out of FL.

Just because caller ID says we are getting calls from 866-477-9826 doesn't mean the calls are actually originating from that number.  It is very easy for a scammer to mask the true number from which they are calling.  Manuel probably disconnected the number after he got angry calls.  I can't imagine that a tiny little business like that is the culprit.  A couple years ago I hunted down the company whose name was showing up on my caller ID and ended up reaching a very nice lady.  She was horrified because she was a work-at-home mom and this was deeply impacting her business.  I felt bad for her and helped her figure out who was really behind it.

I just called the direct number to this company and he said that he disconnected the number 4 months ago and has no idea who is calling me. Did I believe him? Not really. But that is the story of the day.

Just tried to return their call and it would not go though. My phone can block their's but they still call 6 to 8 times a day. WTF.

WTF yes they are calling ever 30 Min today WTH is wrong with them.

I'm getting calls from them non-stop. I don't take them. I just checked this webpage and saw the reference for Hi Tech Accounting Group. I just called (10-21-09) the non toll free number and told the clown that answered do not call me again. He claimed it is not him and someone stole his number. What an idiot.

getting the same call although it is blocked on my cellphone so it doesn't ring. I called it back as well and it is disconnected. Don't blame the poor folks who's numbers get stolen, it is such a business these days, ID fraud.

They call every night and never leave a message.  It's getting annoying.

Same comment as all the previous complaints.  Constant phone calls with nobody at the other end of the line.  Called back and got a recording as Not a working number.

They are calling 2 to 3 times a day - every day - am on do not call list - reporting to phone company to block this number

They call several times a day.  Never answer when I pick up. Stop calling me.

Call DIRECTV customer service at 1-800-531-5000 and ask to talk to a person. Request to be put on DirecTV's "Do Not Call" list.

The person I spoke with at first played dumb when I told her about the problem, but then she put me on hold and looked into it and told me I could be put on this list.

These people call me EVERYDAY and sometimes more than once.  How do we get them to stop!!

I get this call every week

They constantly call ignoring that I am on the do-not-call list. Apparently they are not just illiterate but also brain dead idiots.

Keep getting calls from this number who are they and what do they want?

866-477-9826 has been calling me for several days. The number belongs to Hi-Tech Accounting, which is a Florida based company that deals with small business tax guidance.  I have no clue why they are calling me.  The phone rings three times and stops.  When I did answer, they hung up.  They must be scammers, be careful, don't give out any information to anyone.

This number calls everyday, do not answer.  Got fed up so answered and the lady said it was cancer society?  I told her to take my number off her list and do not call again.  Then 15 min later a call same number from unknown.  Answered and a man said calling for DirectTV I said I was not interested have direct tv and have what I want, got pushy, told him to take my name off his list, he was still talking when I hung up.
So must be some telemarketing part of the florida based accounting firm that comes up when search for the number in google.

Every day we get a call from this number.  Answered once and they hung up.  Googled the number and found out it's an accounting firm in Florida.  Have no clue why they are calling.  The ID says unknown number.

8664779826 was a call from Direct TV. I have the service and advised the caller that I was not interested in any further upgrade.

This number has called at least 4 of 5 days this week, starting Monday Aug.3. Each call so far has been during the 5,6, or 7pm hour. Answering machine got first one--nothing said. I answered second one--nothing said, then they hung up. Third call came while I was on the phone. I didn't put my friend on hold to answer it. Today I let it ring 5 times, then they hung up. I am on the do not call list. I contacted FTC and complained today. More people need to call them (Federal Trade Commission) so they can get this stopped. You don't have to do a formal, written complaint.

I live in Cape Coral, FL.  Same problem mentioned above but I never answer calls from 800 866 or out of state area codes unless I know them.  Obviously the do not call list doesn't work perfectly.  When people do this stuff it guarantees I will never buy from them.

Calls the house so often, almost every night, some times multiple times a night. We never answer it and they never leave a message. Research tells me it's a Direct TV automated sales call trying to sell you an upgrade. Yes, I have Direct TV. They keep this up any longer and I won't. I understand you can opt out of the solicitation calls. I'm researching that now....
