THIS IS DIRECT!!!! THEY WILL CONSTANTLY CALL!! I HATE THEM!!! BUT LOVE THE NFL PACKAGE! THEY ARE THE BIGGEST FRAUD COMPANY STANDING!!!!

I get the calls, several times a day, everyday. I don't have and never had a Direct TV account. So, I don't owe them money, never have.

You are so right. I HAT Direct TV, but now living in Oklahoma, I have no way to see Bucs or Bolts games. What can you do, huh?!

I just called this number back and they did say the were Direct TV and they asked for thenumber associated with my Direct TV account. I said I will give you the number you called.  She said nothing came up. I said of course not I don't have a Direct TV account. I was told my number would be removed....we will see.

I also got a call from this # and it is from Direct TV. Our bill was late and they will call you when you are behind.

It's definitely collections. They called me b/c they were after the previous owner of my cell phone number.
Took four attempts to had the number taken off the list. You do have to escalate to the supervisor, because from what she told me the regular reps do not have access to the program that can delete the number.

They call me every month. I dont answer. I pay the Direct TV bill before shut off date because I dont get paid until the end of the month. They know this. I used to answer and tell them this. P... me off !!!

I have received this call on my phone for the past two days.
We do not even have DirecTV.  Can no one stop this harrassment?

I received this number on my caller id..called them back, gave them my number, operator said that another person had given them this number and they were trying to collect a debt...supposidly removed me off the list.

this is a third party company working thru direct tv reminding you to pay the past due balance from direct tv, this is what you should do...call direct tv and explain what happened they have a "do not call list" where they put your phone on that list and nobody from direct tv or on they behalf should call you,either way do not DO NOT give this people any kind of payment or try to make payment arrangements this company does not work for direct tv this company it's nothing but a third party collecting money on behalf of their client

I called back and it says DirecTV.  I haven't had DirecTV in over a year and I ended with a zero balance and I've got a call from this number.  I don't know why.

This is definately a SCAM , I do have DirecTv and have never had an outstanding balance.  These SCAM artists made the mistake of calling on the same day I get my DirecTv bill.  It showed $0 past balance so there was no doubt.  While they were on the phone I also logged into DirecTv's website to my account and it showed "Current Balance:$0.00"   There is also a "Payment History" button, it showed no bill had ever been overdue.   Never Never Never give these guys a credit card number.  If you do have a balance due, you can pay on DirecTv's site securely.  Don't be a chump, ALWAYS contact DirecTv using their site or the number on your bill.

When you switch services, like from DSL to Uverse and back to DSL about 8 months after leaving Uverse I started getting these calls stating I owed past due and for the receivers (that were returned) It happened to my neighbor and several people I work with. They also try and put it on your credit history and it is bogus

That # keeps calling my cell everyday never leaves a message. I called it back some guy from India answered said the company was a PayDay Loan Company...as for direct tv i pay online only never pay a bill over the phone...and never pay a collection agency cause the company they represent never gets their money, I know this cause I use t work for a collection agaeny I quit when i found out what they do.

It's DirecTV's collections contractor. It's not owned by DirecTV - they send your account info to this third party to collect payment once your account is more than 15 days past due. They will also send you a statement that has red highlighting all over it, and eventually disconnect service. Obviously they don't want to disconnect service because they cant bill you during that time - they only do this when the bill is 30 days past due. This number does not and will not leave messages on your voicemail, as most collection agencies dont do it. If you don't want calls from it, pay your bill on time, or call DirecTV customer service directly and make a promise to pay, that should stop the collection calls as well (It will also restore service if it has been disconnected).

I get a call several times a day from this number, my direct tv bill is paid current so they would have no reason to call me. But they call, and instead of leaving a message, I receive a voice mail from this number that's nothing but dead air.... 2 to 3 times a day for the past month.

direct tv WILL call you when your account is overdue and ask for payment.  They did it to me, I paid over the phone, and that was that.  That was over 6 months ago and all is well.  Of course, I don't know if they call from this number.  I ended up here because I got a call from this # and it was dead.  Probably is Direct TV.  I have never hated a company so much, yet continued to give them my money.  Damn you NFL ticket for signing with them.....damn you, I say!!

im a satille tech for directv, that number does not even go to Directv.

Received several each day from this number. After answering the phone....there was no response. I called the number back and someone claiming to be a direct tv representative answered the phone telling me that my account was past due and asked for a credit card number to pay the bill. THIS IS A SCAM. I just talked to Direct tv and made a complaint. They do not own this 800 number. I was also told that direct tv will never call to have a payment made when your bill is past due, they simply disconnect the service.

I just recieved a call from the same #.  Looked it up in a directory online and said it was a fake # used by a company.  I have direc tv, can't they just call me regulary?  I mean really!  What is up with this?
