This call comes in at all hours of the day and night.  We believe it is a probe to determine when we are home.  Try 9PM at night, 10 AM on Sunday morning, dinner hour.

Get a call about once every three days.  No message. I have Comcast internet, and that is it... so possibly they are selling their other services.
Annoying as hell; you can call, yet not leave a message?  poor business practices, yeah, let me just jump right on your crappy phone and cable.. I have to use Comcast in my location.

The # leads to Comcast. I just called and informed them I have no desire to change my service and to "please" stop calling me. The guy I talked to said he was putting me on their "do not call" list and that it should take effect next month. We'll see if I get any peace now.

As for the government do not call list they can get around it if you are already one of their customers. They can't just blindly call anyone, but if you already have business with them they can call you all they want.

Whoever this bloody lot is that keeps calling, one of these days I am going to pick up the phone and give them hell like they've never heard.  I am so sick of them calling and not leaving a message.  If it's not important enough for you to leave a message, it's not worth my time to answer!  "Do-not-call" list?  Not worth the paper it's printed on!

i get 1-2 calls daily that leave a single tone about 8-10 sec long. ive heard that its comcast trying to call for a "super awseome promotional deal" but cant confirm that

I keep getting the Auto-dial calls from 866-481-0394. Just called nuber and got a "generic" person who said he'd place me on the do not call roster. Told him comcast basically sucks. They do not seem to be able to quote same prices on same day, send mailing offers that had already expired, bills hard to read, ect. he did not seem to care. He did try to sell me phone service, yea, I need more BS from these folks.....

So this is Comcast (as determined by these other commenters) harassing us by these constant calls/dialtones on the answering machine? I am very seriously considering changing to another service for our internet and cable TV.

It is comcast and they want to sell you phone and internet cable hookup. That ticks me off cause I have their cable and my tv never works. Everytime they call then I make them come fix it. I have told them several times not to call me.

It is Comcast, telemarketing for phone services.  They said they will put anyone who does not want to be called on their "do not call" list, which should eliminate future calls.

Anyways, I just called them back at the number, said I do not want additional services and asked to be put on their do not call list. They said they would; we'll see.

I have phone and internet service from Comcast and have been receiving these same "no name" calls.  Nice way to treat customers, don't you think?

is on my caller i.d. every day. Just says "toll free number," which I never pick up. it goes to my voicemail, but they never leave a real message, just a generic message with no information.
