I'm getting numerous calls from "Health Care" organizations that list this number as their opt-out number.

I keep getting these Health Care Cost faxes and I don't trust calling the removal number. There is no name of the company execept for a number to call them and a removal number which likely doesn't work as many people reported from other junk faxes.

This was a fax sent to my workplace. Vacation Clearance Center and Tour Toll free 18004712599. To remove fax call toll free 18004712599.
Five days and four nights in Orlando!! etc etc.....

I had called the toll free several times to remove my tel/fax no from their list, but to no avail.
After warming the tel operator on the 800 no up by leaving a very interesting message..heheh...I then proceeded to call them about 20 times...and left them a nice recording of the CBC Radio Canada wassail xmas music....This would have cost them money...and tied up their lines...hope the stupid bi*ch enjoyes the CBC.

I then decided to talk with the afore mentioned. We exchanged a few paragraphs....she mentioned where I worked...I mentioned I had her on tape for telling me to Fu*k off...
I said I would continue to call with music until I'm off the list, and if she did not remove me I would step up my fun and games!

They said they would. I will wait and see...

I think the bottom line with these spammers is to try cost them money and waste their operatives time. and annoy the heck out of them until they get the point.

Same with me. Calling the number does not stop the faxes and instead seems to worsen the problem.

continue to receive faxes; called 866 number and says it doesn't exist.

Have gotten 3 faxes (slipped through when fax machine was on) from this number: 2 for low cost co-pay and 1 for interior design.  Interior Design co admits having someone fax on their behalf. I asked if it was Protus IP and they said "maybe".  File an FCC complaint  (form 1088). Can't hurt.
