I had to dispute the 9.80 charge as well. I don't even owe money!!! This company messed with the wrong person! They never called me either! I have a feature on my phone that blocks unknown or numbers that are not saved in my contacts!!

Dispute the charge and report them!

Never got any calls from this number, and don't have unpaid debts, but the other day they charged $9.80 on an account that we don't use!!  Don't even know how they got my bank info?!  The 866 number was on the trasaction on my statement and when I try to call it it says mail box is full and I am unable to talk to anyone or leave a message! My bank will have to investigate the whole thing to get me the $$ back!!!

I received a couple of phone calls, last week, from 1-, and today she/he, whoever is calling me, called me again twice. Since I do not answer my cell without recognizing the number in my screen, I allowed them to leave a message if it was urgent. The message is always unclear, and my best bet is that these guys are a bunch of idiots begging for attention by calling people randomly. Just report and ignore them! Tthey will eventually get tired of playing idiots and go away.

This is defintely a colection agency for student loans. Stop bugging me you have been seizing my income tax for the last 5 years.

Fraudulent charge to my ATM card from IPS 866-500-6113.

calls all the time, leaves these messages that jam my voicemail. if you do happen to pick up to tell them to f*** off, it's a message as well. i tried reporting them to the FCC and they said it was a debt collection agency .

These people were looking for someone name Liz. No one by that name has had this number for the last 10 years because it has been my name. Do not answer when this number is on your caller I.D.

I've been receiving repeated calls for someone who used to have my current phone #.  I called the 866-500-6113 and ask them to remove my number for Ms Patsy Haines and the operator told me it would take 48 hours.  Anyway reviewing my June bank statement I see a $9.80 charge for the 866-500-6113 # and I can't tell you how they got my bank acct #.  I'm heading to the bank now.

Just got a recorded message saying it was urgent to call an 800 number today. No business name, no indication of who they were calling for.

charge my checking act....have no idea who they are...reported them and got my $9.80 back.....they say do not call they will charge you again.....crazy leave messages saying you are the federal bureau.

They called one of my coworkers and asked for me and then when he said that he wasn't me that started asking him if information was correct and asking him to make a payment that isn't even late. The next day they called back from a new york number and did the same thing. How they got my co-works cell number and my name together i have no idea..this has to be against the law some how doesn't it?

Well they said they flagged my daughter's number to NOT be called yet the calls started again today. I called and got to a manager, but those employees are so stupid I couldn't possibly write all here..THEY HAVE NO CLUE HOW IT WORKS..yet she was a manager. We should plan a week for everyone to just call them all day long..make sure you find there toll free number for ANYTHING and just call it..some Russian (Estonia) said the Russian are doing cyber crime by massively requesting information at their e-mails and web site..sounds like a plan? "Dear Citi I am calling to know what your phone number is?"..hahahahahahahahah

Its not a collection agency, Time Warner or any other company...its a scam....somehow I was charged $9.80 on my debit card and all the info was IPS and the # 866-500-6113.  My bank is looking into it, if they dont do anything I will close my checking and savings account there.  I havent used that debit card in atleast 5 months, and rarely do any online shopping.  The bank teller said it was in San Bernadino California.  They didnt call me, only charged me

Same deal here. 9.80 on a card that I haven't used in months. Beware of fraud. Visa or MC needs to shut down their account. Then we need to file a class action lawsuit. It took my time to resolve, and my bill rate is $43.27 an hour... So if everyone bills them, they should go under quickly.

Received call on cell on at 8:25 a.m. MST. Had to laugh..if you're not (name) don't listen to the rest of this message! Caller said she was from Houston TX, like that's some kinda big deal. The return number she left was the same number that had called the day before..

Call from Hugh Jenner with County Research Corp. Debt reduction plan, rates are going up. Call immediately. this call was placed to a company after hours phone line to a help desk number.

These ppl keep calling and its very aggravating. I dont need them to be ringing my phone when I have a baby at home waking her up. They need to just STOP!!!!

This phone number calls at all hours even though I am on the no call list. I do NOT owe anyone anything according to my credit reports and really am sick of these people. They are probably looking for my ex-son-in-law who was a deadbeat - but I cannot contact them to tell them I do not know where he may be located. Wish they would stop.

Charge to my bank acct for 10 cents never authorized by this IPS "company" filed a compaint with e FTC and closed all accounts. They also apparently use (800)590-6984 and the day before the charge of 10 cents went thru my account I had six calls from (714) 673-4109.

call this morning. left no voice mail so I guessing its not important. this is not the first time they have called I am sure it won't be the last. thank goodness I have these posts to read so I no its nothing that I should worry about.

Checking my Feb. credit card statement, found a $9.80 charge on 3/6/08 from IPS 866-500-6113 CA.  Will have to go through telephone hell to talk to the credit card company.  They should string these "guys" up by their you know what.

same story, they took out 9.80 unauthorized.  Bank is looking into it now. have no idea how they got my bank account number.

Yeah, it's a collection agency . If you are getting calls from this number, it means a credit issuer has placed you in collections for unpaid debt. I answered the call after finding out who it was, and have spoken with them a couple of times now. They've broken the FFDCA by calling several times after 9p.m., but have become much more polite after I told them I was using the 'memo' function on my answering machine to record this and all subsequent calls from them.Don't be scared of them, become knowledgable about your situation, and above all, PAY THE DEBT, if you in fact owe it.

had many calls from this number also. finally answered the phone in time to get someone on the other side. Yup, a collection agency and not for me! They wanted a bunch of answers from me with no info from them. Told them NO, I don't know who you are and am not giving any answers to your questions. "Do not call again!" The collection agency said "We will call again." This has irritated me to no end!
