Got a call from this number, the person identified themselves as "Agent Carter" and said he was calling in reference to "getting my side of the story". He left a different number to call back. Clearly a scam of some kind.

Called my cell and left no message.  I called the number back and there was no identifying information, just a recording stating select 1 to have your number removed, or 2 to speak to a live representative.

this number called my home phone and left a message on my machine. The message stated that it was Pacesetter bank calling because my card had been inactivated. There is a Pacesetter bank in my city, but I do not have an account with them.
