This number keeps showing up on my phone.  They never leave a message.  I no longer answer my own phone unless I know who is calling me.  I have a list of numbers that I will have to check out.  These people have become absolutely annoying.

I think this number is a computer generated dialer. There's just a blank line. I'd love to find out who these as@holes are. They call two or three times at supper and lunch. Even though I'm on a do not call list they still call.

OK folks, just a tip to try stoping these calls, but ONLY if you are a Bell home phone subscriber!

Check your itemised list of your Bell (phone) services.

What they add on, WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION, is:

" 1 Telemarketing Consent nc"

You have to call customer service to have it removed!

Also, watch your bill in case it sneaks back on!

Yes it is SP Data calling on behalf of Bell Canada. I answered the call and she apologized for the 100 or more phone calls I have received in the last month. No sense getting upset with her as she's just doing her job.

You should contact the person shown below to try and get Bell to stop this. She is in charge of Bell's media relations for Ontario. Let her know what you think of this practice and don't be shy.

Here's the solution:

Lobby CRTC to change the regulations regarding telemarketers.  The new regulations would be something like:

Each time a telemarketer calls your number  (even if you do not answer the phone), your phone bill is credited by some amount (ie 10 cents to $1.00), the telemarketer would then be charged for the credit.   The logic here is that the telemarketers are using my phone equipment to operate their business and therefore should compensate me accordingly.

I might even welcome the odd call, as it would reduce my overall phone bill.

wtf...got home today to have 11...yes eleven (11) calls on my phone from this caller ID (866-507-8350. As usual, no message was left. Obviously, the DNC listing crap doesn't work. Since I've not received any message from these annoying bastards, I can't confirm whether it's Bell Canada or not. I was a Bell customer more than two years ago, but have switched since then. Caller ID is a great feature...now, if only there was a no-fee number blocker to put these idiots out of business!!!!W9B7

This number calls at least 5 times everyday. There is no one on the line when I pick up.

This number has called about 5 times a day for over a week. I finally answered today. SD Data on behalf of Bell, trying to woo me back as a home phone customer and give me a deal on satellite and internet too. The deal was still more than I'm paying with TekSavvy phone and Rogers cable, I told the rep that, and she tried to scare me into believing that a power failure would disrupt my phone service if I didn't use Bell. That's a lie, as TekSavvy operates directly via Bell's lines. I knew from my forum research that I would be told that particular lie - glad I was ready for it. Said adios, and now I'm canceling Sympatico to thank Bell for the harassment and misinformation.

they stopped calling for awhile but have just started again 3 or 4 times a day even though i have never answered

I am expecting an emergency call from my son, who was injured in a fall! I have had 8 calls from this number 1-866-507-8350 just this afternoon!!!  Every time I think it is the hospital calling me.  I hate when companies interupt my day with their nonsense!!!!!!!!!!

This number is from SP Data. What is that? Why are they asking me about Bell stuff? I'm not a customer of Bell. This is stupid. Every day they call.

I am receiveing calls from, 866 507 8350. Had problems with them in the past, I DO not want to have anything to do with this company. They do call 3-4 times a day. Can't they take the hint I don't answer the phone, and I would say they are harrasing my privicy. This needs to stop.

They called me 10 times yesterday during work hours - every 45 minutes or so. I came home and saw 10 missed calls, all from these jokers. I'd already told them that I want off their list. I get that it takes time for that name to actually be removed, but I am not as understanding when such a request seems to generate twice as many calls.

Tried calling SPData to leave a message but the mailbox was full - probably with messages from other infuriated recipients of multiple calls.

Then I spoke to some clueless Bell representative who put me on a DNC list. If that works I'll be satisfied, but it just drives me nuts that there isn't some kind of limit on the number of calls they can make to a single household. I find it hard to believe that this type of thing works in Bell's favour.

Yesterday,those beutiful people from 866 colled me 21 times,before 1 pm.so,i called them and left them 21 messages.Hope,they like it.And when they called again,more messages will fallow.

Please stop calling me on a daily sometimes hourly basis, it's very annoying and I don't want whatever it is you are selling.

That makes two of us Max. They really are a pain in the a**. Why don't just speak when I answer the phone.

Just got a call from them, 4th time today. I answered the last one and there's was no response and ended up getting disconnected.  I called back and it's from SPData on behalf of Bell.  They wanted me to leave my name and number with a message on the best time to call.  So I did leave my name and number with a clear message to STOP CALLING ME!  Let's see what happens.

...did the same thing Geordie did. Called 310-BELL and was added too an internal DO NOT CALL LIST which the operator said would take effect no later then 30 days...Looking forward too the peace and quiet.... Thanks Geordie!

Do as I just did, and call Bell Canada  at 310-BELL. Ask to be removed from all of their Telemarketing Call Lists. After emailing the DNCL and complaining about 1-866-507-8350 calls, they informed me that the number belongs to Bell. After speaking with a Bell Customer Service Rep, I was told that it would take 31 days for the request to kick in. Right after I hung up the damned number called again. Hopefully it will end soon.
The DNCL responded to my email, within 20 minutes with the information.

Believe it or not the calls are coming from Bell Canada. The calls were driving me crazy!!! I would pick up the phone and I would get a recorded message telling me to hold and nobody would come on line. Finaly I got a call from the number someone from Bell came on the phone and asked me if I was happy with the service. I told her to never call again!

On average, I have gotten 3 calls a day from this number.  I have registered with the No call List and this number seems to get through.  Anyone know who this is?
