missed the call

Heard recorded "hold" music, then line clicked and went dead.

Didn't pick up.  I never answer calls that come up as Private or unavailable. If they can't leave a message, screw them.

Keep getting called some times I miss it sometimes I pick up but the call always dies w/ in seconds

I have no idea who this, and they keep calling me on my cell. The couple of times I have answered it, the line goes dead. If I don't answer it, they don't leave a message.

They call several times a day, every day and never leave a message.

Normally, nobody is there -- I tried calling back and they said they were Verizon and asked for my verizon account information. I didn't give any info and called Verizon myself. They said it was a scam.

Who do you call to have this number blocked? it's been calling me for 2-3 weeks now, every day, I never answer. I have Verizon

Anyone know if there's a way to block this number? They keep calling my cell, and I don't want to have to change my plan because this number calls me 3 times a day, for a month, eating up my minutes!

Any suggestions?

If you go to your online Verizon account, under your bill information, there's a 4 or 5 columns of options.  In the second one, at the bottom, there's one to block calls and texts from specified numbers.  It works for me!
