Got the call from this number as well - Same deal. I pick up, they hang up. I call back, busy signal. What the hell is this?

hey has anyone noticed the callers always use 1-866 in the beginning of the number what zip code is that for phones???? we find the zip or area code that is 1-866 we'll know where to look.

This number called me 4 times this past Thursday.  I only picked up once and was hung-up on.

I saw the missed call twice on my phone. When I called back it said you have reached customer service and you will be contacted. Finally when they got to speak with me they said congratulations I had been included in a sweepstake and that what was my name. I told them I was not interested and hanged up

I just finished talking with the caller in this number and definitely passed on to the supervisor -- same thing happened, he asked the expiration date and when I asked what's really the deal -- like others -- I got an answer -- they'll charge $3.99 a week starting November with 4 magazines...NOT a BIG deal though -- but the thing was, you cannot cancel anything as soon as you gave your info to them -- UNFAIR isn't it? -- That supervisor was so persistent that he even said that I don't really trust him, that I definitely have time to read the magazine (after giving all my reasons -- busy!!), and that I am just wasting his time -- then he hang up on me -- what a job of being a supervisor!!! --- Then I just couldn't believe what had he done this morning..the reason I found out this blog...thanks guys for initiating this site --

AND to whom it may CONCERN: (if in case you're aware of what the customer's think) I do trust what you guys offered but if this is really true -- you should be thankful to those who answered your calls -- but you just showed your incapability to deal customer's -- you don't have enough time to listen but rather you think of your own!!! You should think that not everybody is interested of what you offered, so then try your best and don't blame the customers for taking your time eventhough how long is it gonna take you to explain -- THAT'S YOUR JOB, right?!! ALL I CAN SAY IS -- YOU'RE FIRED!!! hahaha:) LOSER!

i got the same deal today.
first call around 2 pm which i missed and then just a moment ago at 8:45pm and when i answered no one was there and then hung up.
i think it's strange and needs to stop.
it's very annoying and makes me wonder how in the world they got my cell number when it's not listed.
stupid people, it's all a scam.

I am also getting calls from this number (and a couple more others) lately, but I never answer my phone when I see a non-familiar number on the screen.  If they don't leave a message, too bad.

They called me 2 days ago and it was about some magazines that I could get 6 different subscriptions for the low monthly fee of 14.95 for 60 months. Finally, they told me that all they needed was the expiration date on my credit card. I asked them if all they needed was the expiriation date then how did they know the number on my card and then she hung up. I have received 2 calls from them again today and they just hung up when I answered. Whatever it is its a scam!

I missed a call from this number this morning and when I called back I got a busy signal.  The next call I answered and someone hung up.  Finally at 8:30 pm someone called back and congratulated me for winning a "dream prize".  I quickly asked this person to remove my name from whatever list they have.

I have gotten called several times a day for about a week from this number... they hang up and it is always busy when i call back... any ideas?

theve said i won a prize in my credit card and tryd to make me give them my credt card number..and theve said sexual things to me

My buddy just called that number off of a private line and got through to a voice mail.  That number is actually a different number which is 5738220129.  We just tried to call it back and no answer, but the number is with sprint.

This number called me too and I had tried to pick it up and no one answered.  I called it back and it said I wasn't authorized to use this service.
