They call us all of the time. Don't know who they are but will not answer if we are home. They leave cryptic messages - make no sense.

They keep calling my house several times a day. They usually hang up when you answer, but this morning I talked to a guy who asked if Brenda was there. I told him he had the wrong number. Then he said is this Brenda Jackson? He acted like I was really Brenda Jackson and I was lying saying that I was not her!!! I said I don't know any Brenda Jackson and told him I had this phone number for 20 years and it was not her number. He then asked me why she wrote down that phone number down on some form or paperwork. Like he's going to trick me by asking this. I told him to ask her why cause I don't know who she is. I also told him to stop calling me. He was a moron.

I have told these people time and time again to stop calling me. They continue to call so what I did was filed a complaint with the FTC I am not going to keep dealing with these people. The man asked me if I wanted my phone back I said I have my phone. He says no I am going to keep calling until I get what I want. I REFUSE to put up with that from any company that I know I owe money to.

What you need to do is file a complaint with FTC about them. These people have lost their minds.

He refuses to remove my number. I am going to send them a copy of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act

Over the last 2 years, I have received 3-5 calls a week from this number, always a hangup call. I have called them back perhaps two dozen times in that time and have never been able to speak with a representative. Today I finally got through to Janet. I asked the nature of their business at least ten times and was never answered. I demanded to speak with a supervisor, and they asked me if I was XXXXXXXX. I responded that I was not and that I had had this phone number for 3 1/2 years. I then used Switchboard.com to look up the number for XXXXXXXX and gave them the listing telling them exactly where the number came from. I again asked them for the nature of their business, adding "Do You Sell Lollipops", "Do you repair Automobiles" they declined to comment.
I called back and spoke to Todd with the same set of questions and was told they were a Financial Institution. I repeated over and over again "What is the nature of your business" and they finally gave the name Financial Recovery Service, I said, "Oh, a bill collector" and he said he was not allowed to divulge that information.
Todd was very nice and took the phone number I got from switchboard.com for XXXXXXX as well as my number and promised to remove me from their calling list.
These people are IDIOTS!!!!!

You can tell them "only contact in the future is to be done via postal mail pursuant to 15USCA 1692b of the fair debt collection practices act. Then go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/compliants.htm to file a complaint against them with the FCC. Every one should do these things with all telephone collection agencies. They are to stop all phone call once you have told them part one of this note. And the more complaints against them with the FCC, the more likely they are to be investigated and ordered to stop illegal collection practices. You can also contact your land-line telephone companies and ask if you can block specific numbers. Some companies have this capability for a "nominal fee." It might save you money if it is less than the collection calls are costing you.
BE PRO-ACTIVE. AND DON'T LET THE BAST&@$RDS GET YOU DOWN!!!!!
