This number is calling my phone and work phone several times a day.  I am tired of it and they never leave a message.  If they can't leave a message then I can't talk to them.

they have not stopped and seems to me they are getting more rude ! it seems as if a bunch of bitter people work there that have nothing better to do that harass others in the privacy of their own home !

AND COMPANIE SHIELA  HAS USED MY CELL# TO PURCHASE THINGS ON APPLICATIONS-ARRONS????AND CREDIT CARD COMP. I AM GOING TO SUE HER AND THIS COMPANY. I get several calls from this number per day.  Sometimes they ask for Kelly Hanson (never lived here), other times there is loud singing and then a hang up and other times they hang up as soon as I say "Hello" twice.  They have called me on my home phone, work phone (work from home) and on my work fax line.  I've called them back several times and they ask for my Capital One 16 digit account number (do not have a capital one card) so they are obviously debt collectors.  I've talked to several people there and have been told that my numbers would be taken off their list.  HOw can we report this as harrassment?  The caller id states Allied Interstate.

I am 16, I don't own anything associated with Capitol one. I do not have any debt to my name, my parents don't have debt-especially not to capital one. So why do I keep getting these calls?

Why don't you call that number who called you and request for your number to be removed from their calling list. They won't know if you'll just post your request here.

This number has been calling several times a day. My husband finally answered and they said they were calling from Costa Rica and were asking for someone that doesn't live here. He told them they had the wrong number. Obviously some sort of scam!

This number calls me at least twice a day every day, never leaves a message (I'm usually at work when they call and can't answer my cell), or hangs up on me after asking to speak to me.  Just this morning, they called at 8:30, 9:45, and 11:15.  Three times in 3 hours?  Harrassment much?

*BEWARE* Just this month alone I have received 14 incoming calls from number #1 (866)526-7795. They call morning, noon and night at the most inconvenient hours! At first I ignored it because I also use the cell number as a business line so my digits are posted on the internet, so once in a while I get telemarketers. BUT these "people" who obsessively call are ridiculous! On several occasions I have answered the phone to complete silence, on one occasion I did get a live person but her voice was distant and inaudible - she asked me for my social security number, I was floored and I told her I don't know your company and I am not giving that information out. She asked if I had a Capital One card and I said I closed my account years ago so do not call me. I asked to be on there do not call list and she said it will take 72 hrs. and refused to give me a confirmation number. A couple weeks later they started calling again. One night I was fed up and answered the phone to again silence, so I redialed and got a automated message to wait for the next available customer service. So then a few seconds fly by and a woman answers and the background was so noisy as if she was outside on the street. She asked for my Capital One Account number immediately and I told her that her that I told another person from this number that I had no account and I have been getting calls from this number every day, etc. She said she apologizes and will put me in the invalid call list, blah blah blah - to which I said that is what the last lady told me and then in mid conversation - SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!

This phone number calls my work many times a day and always hangs up on me.  Not sure who it is but it is agervating. Called the number back today and left a message to be taken off of call list...I doubt it will happen

these idiots have called me 1000 times over the last 4 months. Something needs to be done about these people.

No one ever answers when I pick up the phone and no one answers when I call the number back. I am on the Do Not Call list.

Like others have said this is Allied Interstate/Capital One.  I've been receiving 3 calls a day on my fax line from this number.  I called back (with my # blocked) and spoke to a very polite representative.  I told her that I didn't have a Capital One account and she apologized and removed my number from the system.  Supposedly it will take effect within 24-72 hours, so we'll see...

You are fools if you think the FTC and the Do Not Call program accepts indivudal complaints. It is a joke they play on us. Get a lawyer and sue them.  Your corrupt congressman get his election contributions from these collection agencies so they will ignore anything you say. first of all you need to know who allows this type of treatment. Yes it is your congressman who voted to allow this. Call them and they say they can't do anythong. Which is a lie, they just want their election contributions. I email call my congressman regularly. Tell them you will not vote for them again and will pass the word around. The Do Not Call list is for telemarketers only. And as I said they do not investigate individual complaints nor does the FTC. I know they have forms to fill out. But that is trick and of no use. If congress is against you you do not have a chance. They make the laws. I get 70 to 80 calls a month from debt collectors. I owe no one any money and never have. They still continue to call. Never answer the phone or call them back. Buy phones with call block feaTURES AND SWITCH TO PHONE COMPANIES THAT HAVE CALL BLOCK. some cell phones allow you to select a separte ring for an individual. Select silent mode yfor these callers.

I get calls from this number all day long. The calls start at 8:30a and go on every hour on the hour until  8:30p. Never leaves a message. However, I have never had a credit card let alone a Capital One card.
