This number is calling me at work, I have yet to be at my desk when they do call. I've been curious who it is as no message is ever left. Thanks for the info!

this number called me, hung up, auto redial *69 feature said the number could not be reached, and so i hand dialed and got the number called has been disconnected. how is it possible for the FCC to allow this clear violation of rights?

These people call EVERY day, sometimes up to three times a day. Most of the time it is an auto dialer. They ask me to hold because they have important info, so I tried that, once...it ended up hanging up on me anyway. Today, a real person was actually on the other end. They said they were from Qwest Communications, (my local phone company), and would like to discuss my account. They asked for personal info, and I refused, saying that if they were TRULY Qwest, they would already have that information about me, and would have no reason to ask. She gave me some bu***hit story about 'just verifying my info'. I told her that I found this very suspicious, and would call Qwest myself to see what this is all about. She quickly hung up on me. So, I did indeed call Qwest, and they certainly were NOT trying to contact me about ANYTHING, so it was a scam! Please people, DO NOT give ANY personal info to these people. Qwest is supposed to be investigating this caller.

There is a way to block it according to the phone company; you have to order the feature through your phone service. I'm pretty sure it's a scam of one sort or another - everyone beware!!
I received another call again today and this time an inexperienced voice answered after some prodding. She asked if I would be interested in having Qwest (our phone service) review my account to see if she could save me $. She was so nervous and not credible anyway so I said not. Then I noticed the caller id was this same number. When I called back, it was the recording stating the number is a non-working number. I called Qwest and they confirmed it's a telemarketing company - pretty sure it's a scam!!

what the heck? who are these people and why are they calling two times a day? is there a way you can block it?
| mary bell 2011-06-06 21:02:22 Unknown |
hope this isn't part of a scheme to get people to sign up to Reverse Phone Detective service for a pricy fee!!! If so, shame on you!!
| mary bell 2011-06-06 21:02:22 Unknown |
this is the number on caller i.d.; there is no answer when i pick up and when i try to call it back, recording states it's a number that is no longer in service or disconnected. the number is still on my caller i.d. scroll list so i know it's the correct number i dialed.
