Someone by the name of Karen called my parents house....they didn't leave my mom a detailed message or anything...they just left ther number which is 866-554-1014 ext. 355....i tried calling it back it just says you have reahed the "law office"...What law office???? I didn't hang on to see who it was though.

i had a nuber 213-928-2420 call my cell, saying pretty much the samethings as above but they always leave out any name of the "company" they're from and never use any names. they said its a time sensetive matter and they say legal action will be taken if payment is not recieved. they even threatend using my parents names! i dont know how they got my name or my parents but its obvious a scam.

This "law firm" contacted me a month ago and I told "Brian" that I want something in writing stating my debt. As of today, nothing. He left a message on my cell phone saying that it is a time sensetive matter and if he doesn't hear from me today, the lawyers will proceed with papers. This is about a debt with Cash Net USA that my ex took out on my old bank account last January and didn't pay back. I was told that Cash Net would not take my money to pay it back. From reading everything here, it seems that they are not a legit law office so I am wondering if I should call back and tell them that I need a letter for my attorney...

I got a call to my home phone as well.  "Law offices.  This is formal notification to [synthesized name], a situation that warrants your immediate attention...to receive information regarding this matter... call Law office 18665541014..."
I don't know of anyone by that name.

I DON'T KNOW WHO THIS CALLING FROM THIS NUMBER 865-554-1014. THEY HAVE CALL TWICE IN THE PASS 4 DAYS. THEY NEVER LEAVE MESSAGES AND WHEN THEY DO IT'S LEFT WITH SOME STUPID REFERENCE NUMBER. KNOW ONE GOING TO CALL THEM BACK. IDIOTS.  I GUESS THEY THINK THAT A PERSON SETS ON THERE PHONE ALL DAY LONG AND DON'T WORK.  PLUS THIS IS A NUMBER I DON'T RECONGNIZE AND I WON'T ANSWER. I DON'T KNOW THIS PERSON. SO, I WISH THEY WOULD STOP CALLING MY NUMBER. THEY NEED TO STOP CALLING. I GUESS THE CAT GOT THERE TOUGH! IF YOU ARE CALLING ME YOU BETTER SAY WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT THIS PERTAINS TOO.  ARE OTHERWISE YOU WON'T GET A CALL BACK FROM ME.

I have received calls from this person calling herself Jazelle or Gazelle (not sure of the spelling).  She claims we owe a debt to a particular company which we do not--I have called the company and confirmed this!  We at one time did, but the debt was paid off in full and satisfied.  The company informed me that their computer files had been breached and even if we did have a debt with them they would never hand it off to another party.  She is claiming that I will be served papers and the like if I do not pay at least something.  She also said that the payment must be reasonable or the company will not approve it!  I was told to mail the payment to an address just outside of Buffalo, NY, funny since others say they were given a Florida address.  I do remember not too long ago the largest debt collector scam coming out of Florida!  Be ware of these tactics this is a scam.  I asked for two things, a written letter or legal papers to confirm the debt and she also said that she would email the letter as well!  That was two weeks ago when she called before!  To this date I have received neither!  She called again today leaving a message and wanting me to return her call immediately to discuss payment!  I have reported the company they claim it is The Law Offices--law office of who I ask, but I get an answer of "no attorney as been assigned to it yet"  that rings a bell for me!  I have reported all the information I have to the FCC and the FTC.  I would like to know how she got my number as it is new.  She claims it was listed on their files when it got to them!  Funny since the former company does not have my new number, but rather an old number that has been disconnected (I called the company from a pay phone since I was able to Google them and get an 800 number).  Report these calls immediately--it is the only way we can stop this and to the person that says pay your debts--I DID AND IT STILL HAPPENS!!!

This firm is contacting family members. They were tolf never to do it again, I would do it in writing but how can you whe they refused to give address. TGhese are scammers.

i got a call from this number on my cell phone. i called it back and just stated law office. i ended up googling the number n found out its some scam company harassing people for debts.

Recieved a call on my cell phone today. Was a recorded message saying it was an important message from a law firm. Do not know why they would call me.

Lady called asking for a unusual name, 866 number with no name to caller ID. She claimed to be with a law agency.  I've been here before so I challenged her. She claimed to have just received the file and had never called this number before. Yea, right I told her. I asked for name of company and she refused. She got mad and hung up when I told her I would be googling the number to see who called and reporting it.

Constant calls without stating who they are trying to contact and exactly what they want other than a return phone call. They have called my home and cellular phones and never let me get to a real person to clear up the matter. Ive heard if I call them back Ill have problems with my credit score which is very worrisome as I have no debt whatsoever and am trying to rebuild my credit. They even refuse to take a message because their inbox is "full". If all they want is for me to return their call, and the theory that it will harm my credit is true, then I'm sure this is illegal. I am more than willing to pursue legal action beyond justice and revenge but through to sheer cruelty.

This law call my neighbor, and tell them that I have a huge problems with the law, for me was scary because I call the more than 30 times and nobody answer, this is TERRIBLE, because when I asked my neighbor what this person said, she said that they asking for me, so I ask What name he give you, she said My Nick name instead of my real name, so I was more worry...

Got a several calls from this company before I called back to complain.  The "manager" refused to give me a name, address, or even to spell the company name.  Did not want to listen to my compaint so I cussed him out.  Then he threatened me.  I am reporting him to the State Attorney General of Texas.
