I actually spoke with them today........The guy I spoke with told me that my Bundle Discount with Rogers finished last month because the two year agreement was up, and that I need to commit for another two years in order to keep the discount.

Seems odd as I have been getting the discount for over three years now and as far as I am aware it is not finishing. So they were basically trying to get me to commit for a further two years with no incentive other that what I already have!!

Yes, me too, someone with a thick Indian accent called,  I couldn't understand her, all I heard was 'Roger', so I told her I couldn't undertand her and she had the wrong number.  I am on the DNL list too.

I've been called during work hours time and time again this week.  Every time I pick up, it hangs up.  Finally, I just called the number back.  Apparently they have some contract with Rogers.  The automatic message at this phone number says that if you want to be removed from their call list, to leave a message and it will be done within 31 days.  (!)  I left a message saying this is not good enough, that I must be removed immediately since it's a gross waste of my time and a major frustration.  If it can't happen immediately, I asked that someone call me in person and speak with me directly to tell me why that is not possible.  We'll see how that goes...  I'll keep you "posted".  :-)

Confirming that this is Teleperformance/Rogers and will keep calling you until they get a voice. Hanging up does no good. They are currently trying to boost your internet plan after slashing customer's plan bandwidth. I could actually understand this caller. Previous agents were unintelligible South Asians. This is the way Rogers works. Steal your bandwidth and then harass you trying to sell it back to you in a more expensive plan.

I have NEVER received a call from this number before...until...
Less than 10 minutes ago I had called Rogers (using my cell phone) and told them that I didn't receive a working ringtone that I paid $4.50 for...the guy told me that I would have to talk to him on my house phone so that he could send signals or whatever to my cell. He asked me for my house number...helped me with my cell...and JUST AS SOON AS I HUNG UP .....I got a call from this 866 number...dead air!
So of course I came on here to see what everyone else has said about this number...just to find out that it's Rogers messing with me...ugh!!!
And just a note to all of you reading this...
A few years ago I listed ALL of my numbers with the National do not call list...and guess what? The day AFTER I listed them...I started getting telemarketer calls!!! They have been non stop for 3 years now. I have gone back to the site and put in complaint after complaint but the calls DO NOT stop.
I think the NDNCL is a scam in itself...

Just got off the phone with a lady (thick east indian accent) who called from this number. She explained they were calling on behalf of Rogers as my cellphone plan is expiring in June. They offered to switch my plan from 9pm unlimited calling to 6pm unlimited calling free of charge if I commited to the next 3 years. I had just recieved a notice in the mail yesterday from Roger's also offering to upgrade my cellphone since I had been a plan user for the last 3 years. She then proceeded to try to sell me one of the cell phone upgrades I could choose from. I advised her I would be going into a branch for that. She then asked me to hold the line while she transferred me to the "verification department". I then spoke to another lady who verified my basic info (phone number and name).

they have been calling me for weeks and not leaving any messages. they called me 3 times today and it isn't even 10am yet. i finally answered the phone and it was some foreign woman calling from rogers. she wanted to review my plan and make sure that my name was spelled correctly on my account. ridiculous.

I have been receiving on average 3 calls per day for the past couple of days from this number. I too am registered on the DNC list. Sadly, to little avail. When I pick up the phone it's dead air. This is most irritating. Prior to this I was receiving calls from 1-866-616-6010

They have been calling me 5-8 time everyday for the last 6 days. Complaining to Rogers is a waste of time. Changing my phone # could solve this problem but I have the same phone # since 1978 and changing it would be a major problem for me.

I just called for the same reasons everyone mentioned above - and got the same response - the mailbox was full - SHOCKER!  Thanks to D on January 23 for posting a link to their website - hope this works.  I am with Rogers for cell phone, home phone, cable and internet only because I can't stand satellite but lately I am seriously thinking I need to cancel everything else!

I've been receiving these calls too - about 8-12 a week.  I can only assume it's because I'm not signed up for a cell phone contract with Rogers right now.  If they think this will make me sign up.......NOT!

My approach. The company is Teleperformance (365 Bloor Street East, Suite 600, Toronto, M4W 3L4). They are telemarketers acting on behalf Rogers Communications. I escalated the call and got the Floor Supervisor plus her EID number, her manager's name and the local 416 number. I even found their website. I demanded (politely but forcefully) to the floor supervisor that they remove my number from their call list; to not sell the call list, if it contains my number, to other telemarketers; and to never call me again, otherwise I will launch legal action. I was assured, after many apologies from, that my number will be removed and that I will not get any more calls - but that it takes 48 hours. I stated that I like the Rogers Service but not these calls.

I've received 3 calls from this number over that past 2 days even though I have a do-not-call number.  I haven't picked it up because I have caller ID and I don't recognize it.  They haven't bothered to leave a message so I assume they want to sell me something.

Follow up:  They have called me 7 times over the past 4 days. Yesterday, I phoned the number back and there is a recording saying it's Rogers and you can leave a message asking to have your number removed from their calling list but it may not take effect for 31 days.  I left my number but they called me twice today.  The last time was at 4:50 p.m. late Saturday afternon.  Most people are busy tonight but I am all alone and can't call anyone.  I've been stewing all evening.  I phoned back and left another message and threatened to cancel my cable and internet service if they call me once more.  We'll see if that works.

Follow up:  After leaving a message Saturday evening, they didn't call on Sunday, but that might be their day off.  They phoned around 11:30 a.m. Monday.  I picked it up and left the phone off the hook until 9:30 p.m.  They phoned around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday.  I called them back for the 3rd time and told them to remove my number immediately. This time I used a expletive in the message.

I have my phone service with Bell and cable and internet with Rogers.  Last month, Bell ran a similar phone campaign.  I am fed up with both of them.  Is anyone happy with any other companies that provide these services in the GTA(Greater Toronto Area)?

Yes have also been getting several calls, no message is left, and I don't p/u any unknown or unsolicited calls. I'm working on an automatic call back to screw up their calls, we have the means u know these techies can be beat, out there?  

Maybe the threat would be changing services from Rogers all together after they loose enough business they will get the picture. Dahhh!

Yep, daily Rogers calls during work hours. The real piss off is that I'm paying for the miunutes for them to try to sell me something. Obviously I don't answer. I sent an email through their website asking for them to contact me only via post, even if its regarding my account. I also threatened to cancel my wireless service if they ever call me again.

Yup Yup !! same for me as all the above responses , Ive been called at 11 PM  and  10 am  and  4 pm and  4:50pm  and all day long  they  never call after  5PM when my cell phone is free. I also have  Rogers portable internet  along with the cell service , i'll tell you  service with that has gone to the sh*ts. Ping ratings, of over 500 plus, a packet loss of 3% and 5 % I'm not at all happy  with  there  service. When they called me a while ago to see how my service was  i had told them  about problems with my cell phone beeping in conference calls , they  put me through to  a tech  and  they  didn't even answer, they  hung up, Also after i had asked  them not to  call any more to my cell. They started harrasing my  parents to get to me to sell me 2 cell phones and save money.....(I DON'T NEED TO PHONES ROGERS !!!!!)) Not to mention the last time i tried to  understand a bill that was messed up, the Agent  answered and  fell asleep  on the  phone. Trying to wake him up again,not gonna happen !!....could hear the tv in the back ground though and the agent  snoring . When we called back again  after  waiting another half an  hour for a response , The agent told me that they are unable to help me with my  bill  cause there system was down  for mantenance, she did go on to  say however that if the  first  Agent on the phone hadn't have fallen asleep than something could have been done to help me, however  id have to call back  tomarrow. Guess what!!!!!!! this 1-866 number has just called me now  as i type this . OMG Rogers F Off !! Very  unhappy Rogers Customer.........

These guys call about 2-3 times a day, I have 8 accounts with rogers, and they call on every number I have registered with rogers, so I know they gave out my info.  The say they are with Rogers Cable services, but when pressed will admit they are teleperformance.  When they told me they were recording the call I said "good, record this, DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN! and hung up.  Well that was followed by 5 calls over 20 minutes from them to my cell phone.  A**holes.

The only way around this is to call Rogers, ask for customer care, and then ask to escalate the complaint.  Get THAT person's name and number. Ask them why they hire companies to piss off customers they already have.  Teleperformance even argues the DO NOT CALL list because you are a customer of Rogers.  Enough people have to tell Rogers that it is retarded to anger their existing clients by using a 2-bit call center with telemarketers that can't get jobs at a McDonald's.  
As a side note, even with 8 rogers accounts (I run a number of furnished apartments), I could not get through the first line of defense and get to a manager or even a lousy supervisor. Hopefully that means they don't want to hear more complaints about TELEPERFORMANCE, so hopefully they will eventually get the message.
