I have received a call from this 3 times. Each time when I say 'hello' no one answers. This is annoying.

This call is from Seterus, which is a mortgage service company. Basically, your big-bank mortgage company might have passed off your mortgage to this company without telling you. If you've received a call from them and you don't recognize the name, I'm guessing this has just happened. Citi passed off my mortgage to Seterus and sent me one notification about it, whereas Seterus has sent me several, and has called, and so far are a much better servicer than Citi was.

Agree here!! They are scam artists--they want your info. They don't have our mortgage and tried to say we had defaulted--actually we have paid ahead!! Be aware!!
j. coyle 2013-12-27 15:34:03 Unknown
they call constantly--from 8 am to 9 pm I don't answer the calls. They should spend their time getting an education as they don't seem to realize people ignore them CONSTANTLY!!!! Most people with one brain would realize they are unsuccessful.

I saw this 866 570 5277 number on my caller I.D. So i called, they tried to get my S.S. number i wouldnt give it to them,i talked to a woman and she said it is Collection place called Synthetic Ink. She would not say who she was wanting. I owe no one a dime. She said they would just keep calling me until the person they are looking for gave them their number. And she said for me to go F my mother and I hung up and called my phone company.

it is serterus inc calling . I have called them many times to tell them i havent recieved my welcome package . I was told dont make a payment until i do get a welcome package . So i get a phone call today didnt know the number and they didnt leave a message so i called it back . I got some mouthy guy telling me my june payment was late. I told him no it isnt i was told not to make a payment until i get a welcome package . He said that is not true that i could give him my routing number to checking account and it is a 10 charge to do that . I told him im not doing that and until i get a welcome package im not sending a payment . Each time you call them you get a different story from them . I told them i didnt ask to have my contract sold and they are the ones that bought it so until they get their story straight and a welcome package they arent getting any money .They treat you like you are behind in your payments when its their own fault they dont get the info to you on time to make payments to them .

Called every single day, multiple times a day for two weeks. When I answered, no one was on the line. After two weeks I called them. They said the name of the company is Seterus Inc. Apparently a loan servicing center. I said, "I don't know who you are or why you keep calling." They asked for my number, I gave it, they asked my name and I said, "You keep calling me, I'm not giving you my name, you tell me who you are trying to reach." Turns out they were calling for my husbands ex-wife. I advised they have been divorced 10 years, and I can guarantee she has never lived with us. They claim they have now removed my phone number from their database. I have NO idea how they got our number, she has never ever lived at this address

They call my number and introduce themselves under the same story as having taken over my mortgage. The only thing is that I HAVE NO MORTGAGE on my home. They knew my name and wanted more personal information, but they clearly had no business asking any of this of me. Be careful before you talk to them.

Call is from LBPS Customer Service. The call was legitimate, as they were following up on a current business transaction. Calls from this number can be for any customer service related reason associated with a home mortgage, including loan transfer, missed payment, short sale, foreclosure, etc. Their hours are Monday thru Thursday 5:00 am to 9:00 pm; Friday 5:00 am to 6:00 pm; Saturday 6:00 am to Noon; and Sunday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. These times are Pacific Standard. The number that shows up on your telephone display is their central number for returning the call.

Got a call, after saying hello -- obvious wait. Said it again and response from a man who wanted to speak with me but would not identify his company but said it was an "personal matter." Thank goodness for services like whocallsme.com -- a quick internet check and it turns out it is my mortgage loan servicing company LBPS. I did not know I had an issue and was able to correct it immediately. I also asked LBPS to change their process and absolutely identify themselves when they call. My mortgage payments are important to me. Relieved I was able to fix the issue so quickly.

Thank you for trying to help, but that is not the case. The calls are coming in on a business phone and I can see, as well as hear, when a call disconnects.

This is IBM Collection Services.
Justtryingtohelp 2011-06-06 21:02:31 Unknown
They are not hang up calls, like many call centers they are on a computer dialing system. So this means that there is a delay in the relay from the time you pick up the phone and they are on the line.
Karen 2011-06-06 21:02:31 Unknown
I've started getting hang-up calls from this number at work (I'm the receptionist). I dialed the number and got a recording giving their name as IBM Lender Services.
