i get the same number, a million times. only its a little creepier with me. they left a message on my voicemail with snippets from my previous Away Messages it appears. imagine getting a phone call from yourself.

This is "Strategic Fundrasing and not-for profit Call Services" somewhere in Canada I assume (you have the option of English or French) ... You can call this number and get a voice mail system that tells you what they do ... You can "SUPPOSEDLY" leave a message with your number and it will be put on the "Do Not Call" list within 5 business days. Not sure if that really works or if it's their way of verifying that you have a confirmed number and the amount of calls you receive will actually increase!

they had the nerve to call a few times a week. Then to be even more obnoxious they called late at night...once at 9:15pm. I told them i was on the "1-800 do not call list" and that the next time they called i would report them and they would be fined.
He hung up really fast after that!

They've been calling a couple of days recently, always when I'm at work and can't answer.

This number called me twice today (Nov 2); the first time I picked up the phone but didn't answer; I could hear a voice in the background but eventually there was a disconnect.
When they called me a second time, I answered with "identify yourself" and told that the person was calling "on behalf of The Heart and Stroke Association." I said "no" and hung up.
If they call again, I'm tempted to tell them that I contribute to the Heart and Stroke Association every year near the end of the year, but if they ever call me again, I'll give that contribution to a different group.

Just a click on the other end of the line, silence, then a busy signal.
It's happened a few times

Caller ID says Strat. Comm. Fund 888-203-5227.  It calls nightly, 7 days a week, at around 7:30, on one of my three lines -- It doesn't leave a message on my machine when I don't answer and doesn't say anything when I do answer.

Several calls a day for a week now. No messages and it disconnects when I answer the phone. As others suggested, call the number back and leave a message to have your name and number removed.

Did not recieve calls for a while and now they have started calling again. Called them back (1-888-203-5227) and had them take my name off the list again.

It was off for a while, and then started again.  Really a problem, so I memorised the number and assigned a silent tone to it.

kept getting calls from this phone number at all hours of the day - no messages left when the answering machine came on.  The real problem I had was the last two times they called, it was at 9:30, and 9:49 at night, when we are in bed.  

Called them back and asked to be removed from their calling list - it was automated, so hopefully it will actually be removed.

Hi, I just called the number with a 1 in front of it (1888-203-5227)
The say if you want to be removed from their directory to leave a message with your name and the number you want removed. can take up to 5 business days.

Getting calls every single night at around my kids bedtime. No one on the other end, no messages left, and I tried calling the number back and it says not in service. I am FED UP!!!!!!!

Seven calls over a week or more, did not answer, no messages left.  Wish they would stop calling me.
