Comcast calling to tell me they can get me an upgrade if I call back.

got the call and male person might've said where he was calling from but could not understand him ;) told me I have problems with my Microsoft??? what??? I stopped using PC about 6 years ago.... scammers!!!

This was Comcast calling to confirm an appointment with a technician. I set up this appoint last week. They keep calling because if they don't get a confirmation from you they will cancel the appointment, and they want to give you every opportunity to confirm.

The only time Comcast bothered Me was to confirm my appt.

So why miss call at 1 in the morning?

I've received calls from this number and that is why I googled and came to this page. It is Comcast and from my understanding, these calls come until you answer to confirm your install, see how your new service is going, or if you have any questions or require modifications to your service. It seems annoying but it's to please you as the customer. And no, I don't work for them nor have I ever.

Yep it was Comcast.   They offered a free year of cable and Internet service.  I told them to get lost.  I am happy with my current provider.

It takes up to three months sometimes for the no call list to get you on it and working. So just a few weeks isn't going to help. Just have patience and keep erasing them.

IT IS COMCAST CABLE - but I have no reason why they called me twice and instantly hung up after I said hello. I'm just glad that it is Comcast and not some other Company scoping out my number for whatever reason.

ANNOYING CALLS - I called them back and they claimed it was possibly to offer a promotion but could not identify the person on the phone could not give an actual reason for the call.

Best thing to do - have them remove your number.

It's Comcast cable.  I'm assuming it's because we had service outage in my area last night.  When I called them about the problem the Roboteller informed me of the outage and asked if I wanted to be called when it was fixed.  Well it was fixed last night and I got the call today.

Comcast called twice on my cell. The first call dropped but the second one they got through to confirm an service appointment today.

i do not answer ...800 numbers...i do have caller i d....so the comcast ..company...needs to have a name...so at least..people will know who is calling...a large number of people do not answer 800 numbers....for the third time...i almost missed..my  cable appointment...technicians calling..to see if i am home...no name...just a pecualiar cell phone number...and a area code i do not recognize...comcast...stop being to cheap...have a name on the phones...at least to say comcast.....good grief

THIS NUMBER HAS CALLED THIS MORNING - 4 CALLS- ''FOUR'' WITH IN A 90 MINUTE TIME PERIOD- THIS NEEDS TO STOP- I AM REPORTING THEM TO THE BBB- AND CALLING COMCAST BACK RIGHT NOW AND BITCHING - AND IF THAT WONT WORK? A MEDIA OUTLET WILL WORK JSUT AS GOOD- NEWSPAPER- OR CALLING THE LOCAL NEWS HERE- THEY LOVE TO RUN STORIES LIKE THIS FOR PEOPLE GETTING BOTHERED BY BIG NAME COMPANIES- THEY WOULD RUN WITH THIS STORY BIG TIME!

Comcast calling to confirm my service appointment I scheduled to get my cable issue repaired.

LOL!  Comcast calling at 8:45am; 2:40pm; 3:01pm; and 3:31pm.  left four messages saying they need to verify my apartment number (existing and soon to be former customer).

The person on the phone could not identify the reason I was called.. or why i was hung up on.

Comcast has been calling and hanging up everyday for the past several days.  I finally broke down and called them today to see what's going on.  The customer service representative told me that I was probably receiving sales calls, since my account is in good standing.  I asked to be placed on their internal do not call list, which was done.

Be aware: if you're on the national Do Not Call registry, companies that you're currently doing business with can still make sales calls to you UNLESS you ask them specifically to put them on their internal do not call list.  It takes a couple minutes, but if the calls bother you then it's totally worth it.

I have a pay as you go plan,I never pick-up unless I recognize the number.This number(1-866-594-1234) showed up on my missed calls 6 times within an hour.Sure wish this person would stop!

for crying out loud, I've only had comcast since Thursday (today is Monday) and they're already calling me????

This is incredibly annoying!  I am getting calls every 5-1- minutes and I don't know how to stop it.  I registered for the national do not call registry a few weeks ago because the same thing was happening with another comcast related number but those calls are still coming through as well.

I got a no-message call too. I think it was because I requested a call-back when my service was restored.

Got a call from them: they mean to call me, they just had the wrong name associated with the number and I am not a comcast customer.

It's Comcast and they won't know it anyway if you call to complain about the constant calls... because they apparently don't even bother to keep record of this stuff in their systems. They call to inform you of service interruptions, but don't bother to leave a message... and cannot even see that they've been calling you or that you've ever had a service outage in the first place.

I think these places call you and hang up or don't say anything forcing you to hang up and if you're curious, call them back.  Maybe it's their way of getting around the 'do not call' list?  In the case of Comcast calling me, I needed to call them anyway and got my bill lowered by $40/month.

I received two calls from this number in a 50 minute period.  I only answered the second one, and there was no response on the other end.

I received a call from this number this morning. It was an automated message letting me know that a service issue in my area was resolved that I called about yesterday.

do you have comcast?  if you do business with any company the do not call list doesn't apply because you "willingly" gave them your number. I know, still very annoying.
