Event Reminder
This was Comcast calling to confirm an appointment with a technician. I set up this appoint last week. They keep calling because if they don't get a confirmation from you they will cancel the appointment, and they want to give you every opportunity to confirm.

I've received calls from this number and that is why I googled and came to this page. It is Comcast and from my understanding, these calls come until you answer to confirm your install, see how your new service is going, or if you have any questions or require modifications to your service. It seems annoying but it's to please you as the customer. And no, I don't work for them nor have I ever.

Yep it was Comcast.   They offered a free year of cable and Internet service.  I told them to get lost.  I am happy with my current provider.

It takes up to three months sometimes for the no call list to get you on it and working. So just a few weeks isn't going to help. Just have patience and keep erasing them.

IT IS COMCAST CABLE - but I have no reason why they called me twice and instantly hung up after I said hello. I'm just glad that it is Comcast and not some other Company scoping out my number for whatever reason.

ANNOYING CALLS - I called them back and they claimed it was possibly to offer a promotion but could not identify the person on the phone could not give an actual reason for the call.

Best thing to do - have them remove your number.

It's Comcast cable.  I'm assuming it's because we had service outage in my area last night.  When I called them about the problem the Roboteller informed me of the outage and asked if I wanted to be called when it was fixed.  Well it was fixed last night and I got the call today.

i do not answer ...800 numbers...i do have caller i d....so the comcast ..company...needs to have a name...so at least..people will know who is calling...a large number of people do not answer 800 numbers....for the third time...i almost missed..my  cable appointment...technicians calling..to see if i am home...no name...just a pecualiar cell phone number...and a area code i do not recognize...comcast...stop being to cheap...have a name on the phones...at least to say comcast.....good grief

Comcast has been calling and hanging up everyday for the past several days.  I finally broke down and called them today to see what's going on.  The customer service representative told me that I was probably receiving sales calls, since my account is in good standing.  I asked to be placed on their internal do not call list, which was done.

Be aware: if you're on the national Do Not Call registry, companies that you're currently doing business with can still make sales calls to you UNLESS you ask them specifically to put them on their internal do not call list.  It takes a couple minutes, but if the calls bother you then it's totally worth it.

I have a pay as you go plan,I never pick-up unless I recognize the number.This number(1-866-594-1234) showed up on my missed calls 6 times within an hour.Sure wish this person would stop!

This is incredibly annoying!  I am getting calls every 5-1- minutes and I don't know how to stop it.  I registered for the national do not call registry a few weeks ago because the same thing was happening with another comcast related number but those calls are still coming through as well.

It's Comcast and they won't know it anyway if you call to complain about the constant calls... because they apparently don't even bother to keep record of this stuff in their systems. They call to inform you of service interruptions, but don't bother to leave a message... and cannot even see that they've been calling you or that you've ever had a service outage in the first place.

I think these places call you and hang up or don't say anything forcing you to hang up and if you're curious, call them back.  Maybe it's their way of getting around the 'do not call' list?  In the case of Comcast calling me, I needed to call them anyway and got my bill lowered by $40/month.

do you have comcast?  if you do business with any company the do not call list doesn't apply because you "willingly" gave them your number. I know, still very annoying.
