have received 3 texts
"(8608288519) Merchants-Bank Notice. Please call 866 617 8294)
then received an call and a voice mail telling me to update my master card.
I only have one master card that is capital one credit card.
no account with merchants bank.
the phone call came this saturday morning 5/26/12. from a 205 321 0411 (birmingham AL) # at 7:28 in the morning. which would have been 6:28am alabama time.
called back from a secure land line and it says "sorry the number you are trying to reach is not in service".
i'm concerned this is identity theft.

Received a call with the text message:
"BankOfAmerica Notice. Please call 866 617 8294 CB 860-379-7677"
but I've never had an account with Bank Of America. They did not leave a message. If not marketing call, this was bogus scam call. I'm also on the DO NOT CALL list

They say my debit card's been cancelled & ask me to call..I don't have a debit card from the bank they mention. Makes me wonder if it's a scam or identity theft.
