I have been receiving these calls for months about 3-4 times a month. I finally caught the call and pressed 1 to speak with a rep. I would have to say this seemed to be legitimate to some extent because the rep asked for a relative of mine who I know was hospitalized and probably owes money. However, I think it's really fishy how they never leave informative voice mails.

Caller asks for personal information and will only state that it is a collection from a "medical group".  Claims to be in an office but heard a dog barking in the background.  He had my personal information and would NOT tell me anything further.  I do not have any bad debt and the call was in reference to a bill from March 2011.  The man was told not to call my home phone number again an I hung up on him.

So, this is a collection agency?  We got a call yesterday that wanted last 4 of social security but wouldn't tell us anything without it and we will not give out personal information.... but they won't say what call is about without it...we told them to send us a letter and they stated they "Had"  but we have never received any letter from this company........

We are totally unaware of ANY bad debt on our part....how do we find out for sure?
