I have been receiving calls from these numbers: 847 557-1100, 866 517-3062,866 656-3422,888 272-5543. This began about September and they ring through about every 30 to 40 minutes EVERY day and slightly less on sat and sun. I have turned off my answering machine, but I am more than ready to talk to my senator about this relentless harassment . . .

This is one of many Sallie Mae numbers....they will continue to call over an over again.

Yup.  SLM Corporation.  "Sallie Mae" -- their CEO Albert Lord just finished building himself a $30 Million, personal luxury golf course.

This is just the latest number from Sallie Mae. They must be "special needs" folks over at Sallie Mae because they call from different numbers I guess beveling that I will pick up if it's a number I haven't seen before. The funny thing with the "special needs employees" at Sallie Mae is that even if you talk to someone they will call you 6 to 8 more times later the same day. So, my advice is to get a Google Voice account and send Sallie Mae calls directly to voice mail or to an out of service message. I get messages from Sallie Mae "The Harassment Company" all day long from the following numbers.

I just received another call from this number saying we are in default on a 4 year loan defferment. They tried to get payment from us etc. I asked them to give me fax information and they gave me 570-200-6259. This person said they were calling from the collection division of Sallie Mae. We are not late,the loan in question is paid back when the student finishes school.  Can anyone please tell me how to protect myself from them doing anything to hurt us. I do not owe that money now and they said my child did not go to school...... Also, is there anyone in our Government that is on to this? Who do we contact?
