I received a call from 866-288-2780.
They said I won a prize from a Travel Company, Grand Travel, in Camarillo, CA but said Grand Travel was located in a hotel without a phone number somewhere in Northern California and that I could not authenticate how/if they were truly a business. because they had no phone number or address for Grand Travel.  How they got my name and phone number I have no idea, and I don't do sweepstakes from malls. They kept having "other" people get back to me. No one would give me any info on the Prize Communications Company at all other than a Bill Russell whom I never spoke with, only his so called "assistants" who wanted to send me info in the mail, but they didn't have my snail mail address. What a scam. They said I would win either a 2014 Ford Explorer, $25,000, a 3 day 2 night trip to either Las Vegas or Orlando, or a 27' flat screen tv.
I never got an email they said they sent to me, nor did I give out any email info. Total scam.

I think this is a scam. I am getting calls from 202-239-8672. A guy (he said his name is Brian) who supposedly is a manager, wants me to go to address 2101 Wisconsin Ave in NW, DC to pick up a (supposedly) FREE TV or 1 of three other prices that I won. People don't just give things out for free. There is always something they want in exchange. BEWARE: This must be a scam!! I hung up on the guy and told him I'm not interested. And I won't even bother going to that address. I'm alergic to liers, thiefs, and scammers!!

I received a call today from (971) 208-9936. The young woman who called me had an Indian accent, I believe, and when I didn't hang up on her she passed me to her supervisor, a man also with some non-US accent. Both of them offered only a pair of airline tickets within US, good for 1 year but with holiday blackout periods. He said they were with Holiday Inn Travel of Georgetown (DC) and later gave me the name of Premier Concepts. So far this sounded like a normal marketing program. My husband and I have attended a few over the years. I asked him to email me some literature as he wanted us to come to a 1.5 hour presentation this weekend at 2101 Wisconsin Ave NW. He also gave me his phone number (877) 273-3656 and his name, Elijah. He said he would email me a black and white copy of their brochure and I gave him an email address I use if I don't want a repeat email. That was about 1/2 hour ago and he hasn't sent the email. I didn't call back the number he gave me but I did call back the number they called me on.
I got a message that it was "unallocated" and it did not ring through. I've never heard of the term "unallocated" before. This might be a legitimate marketing game for a timeshare, but I think I won't explore it further.

Got a call today from (661)748-0240. They are the same bunch of scammers. Apparently I won one of 4 prizes (TV, Ford Escape, Vacation, $2500), and I need to go to Holiday Inn, Georgetown to collect it. No cost or obligation of any kind -- just collect your prize and walk out. Yeah sure!

Received the same call today, 1 in 4 chance Dodge Durango et al.  They sent a confirmation e-mail with a hotel location and appointment to pick it up. Only after a 90 min presentation.  Went online and found this info, have to love Google. Thought it was a scam, but wanted confirmation. Look up the lawsuits against the LLC company and complaint boards, quite the plethora of information.  Also, MUST have CC to receive the award, nice try. Stay far away and do not confirm receipt of the e-mail.
Boards and this site saved me from the 90 min 'pitch'.

Sarah Johnson of Prize Center Communications, Chicago called me on behalf of Mr. Bill Russell, Prize Director.  The call came from phone # 866-288-2780.  Same pitch.  Guaranteed to be 1 of 4 winners.  First prize: Dodge Durango or $25,000 cash; 2nd prize: 3 days and 2 nights in either San Diego or Washington, D.C.; 3rd prize:  $2,500 cash and 4th prize: a 14" Toshiba laptop.  I was given my own unique winning number to present when I went to pick up my prize. Had to make an appointment for the next day to go to the office of International Travel in a city about 20 miles from where I live.  But before my appointment and award could be confirmed had to respond to an email from a Christine Chong from Prize Center Communications.  I jotted down all the information ... and immediately Googled "Prize Center Communications" which led me to this web site.  Have you all noticed that the scammers are getting more creative?

Just received a call from "Christina Lee" (info on caller ID:  Griffin, R; 312-546-4457).  Supposedly my husband entered a drawing and I too need to call "Mr Russell" at 866-659-0483.  "Christina" said matter-of-factly that this wasn't a scam or a solicitation, and "Mr. Russell" would answer all of my questions.  I called and was planning to first ask how my husband could win a drawing when he NEVER entered the, but I reached voice mail asking me to leave my name and phone number, (I did not).  A call back to 312-546-4457 yielded a full mailbox and no chance to leave a message.

I did leave a message with someone though - the FCC.  I filed a complaint on their web site. :)

However, to claim the prize I needed to call Mr. Russell at 866-659-0483 who is with Prize communications. I asked where they are located and was told they are in Chicago, but I can pick my prize up in Fredericksburg.

The calls started this week. Left 2 voicemails we ignored. Then answered the phone by mistake and was told my husband won a car due to an online sweepstakes entry. Busted!!  We NEVER enter contests online, really, are there people out there who do??   Anyway I told them to remove our number from their call list. Hopefully I won't have to take further action.

SCAM!!!!
Beware

So I'm not stupid and when called and told I won either a car/$25k, or $2500 or a 3day 2 night with airfare trip or a 32" flat TV - I thought ok sit in a sales pitch and get a TV....

It was an alternative to time-share - really give me your $9K+ and you can pay less to vacation.  Sales pressure was medium and like a time share they lower the deal costs over and over.  You give a company cash and have no title etc - NO WAY!
So we scratched off our prize ticket but NOT before the sales guy asked hey if you win the vacation would you trade it towards ownership?  We said don't know let's see... Low and behold we won the vacation and no we didn't trade for ownership.  We walked out with a paper prize... At home with a bit of research the "free" prize is far from "free" your costs range from $20 to $400.  OK this migh be ok but I can go to these same sites and get paid as they all have a sales pitch....

http://www.codevacation.com/

Will we go or use this "gift" NO!!!!

Don't waste your time with these guys!

I saw someone who said they won a TV - might be bull.....
